Pastries are so-so, poor customer service.At the end of purchase, the older lady was pointing somewhere, and apparently was trying to get me to use the hand sanitizer. She shouted super loud at me after several failed attempts to get me to understand what she's trying to point at.

I’ve been to Belem in Portugal, and these egg tarts are better if you have a sweet tooth. I asked, and of course the pastry chef is from Portugal. The eclairs are great, too. Even more amazing are the prices, which are reasonable. (February 2019)

Uh, I'm not sure what went wrong, but I had the worst croissants of my life here. I recently took a flight, and the croissant for the economy class in the plane was better. It's prodigious how they managed to make something so great so disappointing. Maybe it was a fluke?

Tiny bakery that serves excellent pastel de natas (Portuguese tarts), they are a must try.The shop is clean and the owner was friendly, also tried a strudel which was so-so. Still giving this place 5 stars solely for the pastel de natas. I’ve been to Portugal and they are just as good if not better and are cheaper than what they charge in Portugal. Excellent!

Excellent pastries, fresh bread and rolls!Note to the owners:The older woman who works behind the counter is often quite rude in her manner. She often makes customers wait, while she catches up with Portuguese customers after they have completed their purchases. She's almost always annoyed at something when I shop at store. Perhaps she is unhappy working there, but it's unprofessional to let that attitude spill over into her interactions with customers. Maybe she needs a vacation?
