No reason for their cakes to have all that toxic added preservatives. Bought a cookies and cream and it was extremely bland. Tasted like dirt. Choices market had very tiny ingredient list with their cakes. Highly recommended. Picked up a cake packed 4 days ago and it's still pretty good. Im assuming a fresh one at room temp would be amazing.

July 30th 6pm the deli hot case was non operational no chicken pot pies etc when people are looking for dinner... the roast chickens were very dry...I was tempted to returnthe one i bought it was terribly dry because it sat in the case so long or was over cooked. A big grocery store chain needs to be better going into a holiday weekend. Not impressed at all get better please.

Staff are great. Produce is not great. I find I have to be very careful - long English cucumbers can be soft, cherry tomatoes moldy, peppers soft with black spots, potatoes soft....

Save On Foods on South Fraser is one of the few Save-On Foods in the Abbotsford area where you don't have to worry about parking, the floor layout is clear and concise, you're able to find what you need, the staff know where things are, or they're friendly enough to tell you and look into what it is you're looking for to meet your grocery needs. Save On Foods has a wide variety at this location of wine and other spirits which makes it X an exceptional value and a consistent standard of product. I've enjoyed dealing with Save On over the years and go out of my way to go to this location even though it's many blocks out of the way, because I can count on the friendliness of the staff, the availability of the product, and the value.

I just don't like Save On Foods store set up. You can't just want in and out for a quick shop. Unless there's a sale the prices are high for most everything.

Tons of vegan options here, very clean and spacious store. They have just egg, cashew tiramisu, so delicious whip, very good butchers, field roast, Daiya, earth island, silk, riviera, and a bunch of other things. Definitely a good spot to stop if you’re looking for a bunch of vegan variety.

Really enjoyed grocery shopping here! I love the layout of the store. Everything easy to see and navigate. Lots of ready to consume meals. We really enjoyed the Italian Job pizza. It was delicious. Really surprised at the great wine selection as well. Try it for yourself! Enjoy.

Erika in The floral department should work in a slower pace position at this location. This is obviously a fast pace position for Erika. Customers have active lives and waiting 40 minutes for a bouquet of roses to be wrapped is ridiculous. Erika needs to recognize the order and manner of how she helps paying customers. She should be made aware that it is first come first serve ! Not pick and choose who she wishes to serve first. Their were two other employees working with her yet she was the only one doing any physical labour. As I stood there waiting patiently Erika instructed the other two younger employees to help customers that arrived after I did. The customer ahead of me even commented …. Pointing at me telling Erika I was next in line . This she already knew as she instructed her colleagues to help others that arrived after me. She even stop helping the customer ahead of me to assist another customer that called in. As we waited for 5-7 min for her to complete her phone call. It was crazy watching her. The customer ahead of me was there waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a few balloons. At one point the other two younger employees were just standing there. So I asked one… could I please just have a piece of the colourful paper and a string. I can wrap it myself I have been here almost 20 min. Erika says… No! You have to wait ! I told Erika not make things difficult. I am visible minority. I hope this was not the issue ? I can see no other reason why I was treated that way . I will never step foot in this location again.

Worst customer service there. One time I found expired food there and tell them to remove from shelves. Then I found a piece of glass in cake. And on Valentine’s day I had horrible experience there. I bought what I needed and then when I was leaving (they had a set up to wrap flowers and cards and all, which I get to know after the incident because they were still setting it up)A lady before me took some cards and left. I thought may be they’re free and I stopped there to look at them because I was making goodie bags for my class, and then a lady came to me and said oh they’re not for you put them back. She was so rude. And on top of that she started laughing at me with other coworker. I was in shock and said oh you can say that in a nicer way. No need to be that rude, and I didn’t knew that and thank you for spoiling my day.So a message for you if you’re reading this “no need to be a racist, treat us same as you treat your people”.

One of our favourite grocery chains to shop at as we are always impressed with the quality of everything we get from Save-on!
