Sideshift Bow & Stern Thrusters

We could not be any happier with our Sideshift Thrusters. As new owners of a 1988 415 Aft Cabin Sea Ray for our first boat we were having difficulty maneuvering it into the slip especially on windy days. It is so much easier to handle and makes it much more fun to take our boat out. We feel so much safer now and are always telling others how well they have worked out.

Rob and crew are THE best. NO pressure, only pure informative information. The SS350 was bought and I installed it myself on my Carver 390CPMY. Installation start to finish was approx 9 hours. EVERYTHING except battery cables included. Tech support, those guys are great and never tired of me calling them. I had many questions during the install and each call was greeted with enthusiasm and respect. I would recommend this product and company to anyone who wants a great priced thruster. Stern Thruster in the spring 2023!

I live in New Zealand and recently installed one of the Sideshift bow thrusters on my glass over ply boat. It is a brilliant well engineered kit with excellent instructions.The installation was completed without taking the boat out of the water.It works very well and has totally transformed the berthing of my boat.Highly recommended.

I ordered our Sideshift for the stern of our trawler. The installation manual and videos were easy to understand and follow. It was super easy to install. There were a few questions and they were answered by the support team quickly. The Sideshift makes docking a dream when before it was installed it was a nightmare especially in the wind or currents. We love it and it was not that expensive. Every part of the experience was positive, easy and a joy once it was installed.

Step aside headsets, SideShift is the new Marriage Saver".We upgraded from a 30' cruiser to a Carver 444 with an LOA of nearly 50' (with dinghy). The Carver came with a bow thruster but no stern thruster.We installed a rear thruster and remote control that also operates the bow thruster. Our first trip out we had to navigate 30 locks and the Sideshifter was a godsend. The remote allowed me to leave the helm and secure the stern

I have a 28 foot Southbay 925 it is a great boat but kinda large in small tight docking spaces. We enjoy boating over to restaurants which are often busy with boats going in and out. My wife would almost panic. I added the Bow and Stern Thrusters and could not be happier with them. My wife now enjoys going the out on the boat more than ever. I installed the system with the help of my brother. It took some time because not having a trailer we had to find shallow water and made the install. Last but not least it is fun to see people staring as I drive the boat sideways. lol

I bought an ST230 stern thruster. I was immediately impressed by the professional advice and technical support. Although designed for installation on the cavitation plate, on my particular boat with a swim platform, that wasn’t the ideal location. However, I mounted it to the transom. It is fantastic. I already had a bow thruster and the kit to operate the bow and stern thrusters by 2 toggle switches works perfectly. I now dock like a pro. Great product and great sales and technical support team

The Sideshift pontoon bow thruster is a big time game changer! We have a built in bow thruster on out Northcoast 32 ft. boat with twin 300 Yamaha engines and a Yamaha Helm Master joy stick on our new Cobia 280CC with twin 250 Yamahas. This Sideshift performs as quickly as these two boats do for a fraction of the price! Do not think twice about adding this to your pontoon. You will have total control in the most difficult and windiest spots. We have it on our Godfrey San Pan 28 foot pontoon with a 425 Yamaha. Unbelievable Performance.Every single person that sees this work stops and stares in amazement! Just a two or three second blast is usually enough to swing your bow.
