My husband and I came in for dinner after not being here for a year as we aren’t locals. We had Hunter as our server…… she made sure we had an amazing experience. She was thorough, energetic, and had a great sense of humor. The food was absolutely spectacular. Easily the best meal we’ve had in Penticton in years. Thank you so much Hunter for all of your help!

We had a terrible experience at Theo's due to poor organization/communication, the owner's rude behaviour, and a general feeling of not being welcome. I phoned ahead two days prior, to make a reservation for 25 people (professionals that work just around the corner). This was not an issue and we were told to send our orders in early to make it easier for the kitchen. No problem. I also explained it would be separate cheques, which was not an issue either. When we arrived, the server didn't want to do separate cheques, in fact, she wanted to divide the total by 25 people. Not acceptable with everyone ordering different items. Two people didn't get their meals until the rest of us had finished, due to a mistake in the kitchen, and one of those two still received the wrong meal. At this point, the owner was clearly upset with us and made it known. He was mad that they had to throw out a couple of meals (the server's/kitchen's mistake) and went on and on about how they're not equipped for a party that size and that we shouldn't have ordered ahead, we should have been treated as a banquet with a separate menu, etc. He even condescendingly asked me, have you ever served in a restaurant

Unbelievable spot - the dolmates and the spreads were of incredible texture and flavour. I shared a rabbit dish and a lamb shoulder dish with a friend and we couldn’t decide which one was the better one. The braise was perfect, the meat texture outstanding, and the broth sumptuous.Coming from Vancouver’s food scene one would think I should adjust my expectations in smaller towns - adjust I did, by in fact heightening my standards. I don’t recall having Greek food this good anywhere in Vancouver so far to be honest. This was hands down the best experience in this genre for me, ever.

Seriously, the BEST Greek Food this side of Montreal! And I know! The food was made fresh and presented very well... the staff were very attentive and there was no waiting for service. The waitress we had was extremely knowledgeable about wine and helped to make a great decision on a bottle that suited our dinner. There were five of us and each of us had her attention, answered questions about food allergies/sensitivities and when she didn't know, she confirmed with the kitchen and returned to us promptly with the answer. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and then there was the entertainment, a gorgeous, fun and loveable belly dancer who made us all smile. This was an added bonus we didn't expect. The price was reasonable and there was no shocker on the receipts (which were all accurate). The Manager took his time to chat with customers and let them know how he appreciated their business. He was available at all times. If you are wondering 'should I go or shouldn't I' the answer is GO!!! You won't be disappointed!

The deco is to represent Greece and has many different little areas. We were seated in the Atrium area of the restaurant with natural sunlight and tropical plants and garden. Menu was reasonably priced and not to large with many items that you could get lost in making it more difficult to order. The place was well cleaned and well staffed. I would recommend it for special occasions because it's more of a romantic place. Also because it does have different eating areas that are separated with walls and doorways it seems not get very very loud that you can't carry a conversation.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the service's awesome. The chicken liver appetizer is delicious and it's 1 of the best I have ever had. For entree, we ordered the lamb souvlaki and lamb shoulder. The souvlaki is a bit overcooked tonight but it's still good. The lamb shoulder is tender and juicy and the portion is huge. Finally we ordered a lemon sorbet for dessert and it's very refreshing (although it's a bit pricey for just 1 scoop). Overall it's a nice dining experience and will definitely revisit when we come to Penticton again.

Absolutely amazing. I am very hard to impress as at home we use quality ingredients, and find most restaurants do not. Theo’s does. I felt that I had a true Mediterranean dining experience. Highly recommend for us health conscious folks and loving wonderful flavors! Also the ambiance is spectacular!!!

Wow!I came here for my Birthday Dinner.Absolutely delicious food & exceptional service. My waitress was just lovely. Didn't catch her name unfortunately.I got the Lamb Souvlaki. It literally melted in my mouth. I asked for extra tzatiski, and they delivered. The pita bread was so soft, light, buttery and fluffy. It was the best pita I've ever had in my life. We followed up with the Ekmek desert. Ive never tried any kind of greek desert before, this was a super light and fluffy desert. Kinda like an almond mousse with crunchy bits on the bottom. So good!The prices make sense considering the food is so good. I will be back 100%Ordered-Lamb Souvlaki-Chicken Souvlaki- Ekmek desert- orange juice- 2 rootbeers- extra tzatiskiCame to $97.00

5 stars on everything. Food is prepared with so much love and flavour, the staff is really warm to talk to. We tried the beer on tap, and it was delicious. There are some impromtu dance performances as well. Rosemary chicken was the best I ever had.
