I had fish and chips well couldn't eat French fries matter of fact couldn't even get a fork in them overcooked for sure. Fish was a nice portion and tasty. Guess I hold have gotten a side of gravy to soften them up.

I have always had a great experience at the Coutry Rose pub..not this time,!!! I was absolutely disgusted at my last visit. The sever was quite rude, they had removed our favourite items from the menu and didn’t offer any alternates, who ordered a plate of fries as I was starving.. And they came out like Miss Vikings,s chips hard , but inedible!, always my go to pub , but 13+ for burnt hard fries .. so disappointed . Never going back

A pub that is so much like English pubs... right here in Colwood...complete with craft beers pretzels chowder and wings. See pictures. Now you really don't have to go downtown for pub grub. Lots of parking...not truely wheelchair assessible...so cannot give highest rating. Give it a try...

Excellent service and the most delicious food. Friday night at 6:30 it was a full house so we had a bit of a long wait but in the end we were seated and our drink orders were fulfilled promptly , followed by our food.I ordered the fish and chips and it was the best battered fish I have eaten in a long time…not to mention the delicious onion rings that my daughter ordered along with her famous Rose burger. All good, and we’ll be back every Friday!

We love this place. I live in town and eat out often, but this is on my way home from work and is an oasis of great pub food. We have tried most of the menu and fresh sheets and it is always good, the quality consistently high. The house salad is the best I have had in Victoria. The back yard is a hidden gem in the Westshore, quiet, green and pleasant. We have always had good servers and one of the owners always waves hello. And god love 'em, they serve No Boats on Sunday. My pub nirvana!

Great service and very good food. The burger was amazing! The only thing that could be improved is the beef dip, the ingredients were good but the interpretation was bad.

Their ceasar and the banh mi burger were so good. Probably my favorite yam fries ever. There's an outdoor backyard with many tables and great atmosphere, you have to go.

My husband loves the burger. No frozen patty there. I ordered the Chicken Brie Burger without the BBQ sauce. So good. Staff were amazing. We'll definitely go back.
