This place makes some absolutely delicious chocolate, and the espresso! Oh, the espresso... I've never liked espresso beverages until I had a 'Canadiano' from here. Almost no bitterness, with a lovely chocolatey note to it. A must-visit location in cobourg

Fresh yummy Gelato in the heart of Coburg downtown.Must try when in Coburg or Coburg beach area.Their mango gelato had real mango in it.u can taste it in the gelato.yummy.This store is right in the market Square and next to lcbo.So ample free parking.Gelato with waffle is $6.5 with tax. A lil bit pricier but good quality gelatos.

Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria
I just tried their Chocolate gelato, and it tasted like they use water, no cream or milk. So technically, it's not gelato, it's sorbet. The texture was nowhere near what you'd expect from an authentic Italian gelato. Very disappointing.

Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria
What a great shop! Excellent service with a great atmosphere. All the chocolates were described to our family as well as some of the history of the shop. The chocolate designs were beautiful and second to none. After we left the shop, we pretty much devoured everything we bought (didn't want to see them melt) and savored every mouth watering bite. Highly recommend!

The chocolate and gelato here are excellent BUT.... their fresh pasta is even better. Bought some fresh linguini yesterday and made a seafood pasta dish. I don't think I can go back to the dry stuff knowing how much of a difference it makes. The texture and chew is amazing!!!

It was a little difficult to find due to construction.Once found got chocolate that had wonderful designs and tasted delicious. Prices were on par for homemade chocolate. Fresh pasta was good but to my untrained pallet tasted the same as store bought so not worth the extra $ for me.

Mixed feelings.. store was easy to find, with the host very easy-going and knowledgeable on products. All products were nicely displayed and the store was very clean. We purchased three individual dark chocolates ( only dark was being sold) at $1.75 each. Honestly..... we're excited to try them however we're disappointed in the overall taste particularly in comparison to the price. We have purchased other handmade custom chocolate which were less expensive with a bolder richer flavour . We could be wrong but I didn't see any incentive for individuals to purchase chocolates in larger amounts. It seems that the price increases as you purchase more items. Perhaps we are mistaken in that but that was our understanding from the pidyed menu We cannot speak to any of the other products as we did not purchase the pasta but it looked nice. We wish you continued success in 2022.

A true gem in Port Hope set on the lovely John Street. A must visit if you are in Port Hope. They have the best handmade chocolates I have ever tasted and the gelato is better then any ice cream. It’s always fresh and made with real ingredients. If you don’t have a sweet tooth the espresso is also out of this world. No bitterness, very rich and smooth. If you get lucky the owner will be in. Darren is knowledgeable is all aspects of his products as he sources all the ingredients and makes everything himself in store.

Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria
Delicious gelato with generous serving! I got the vegan mixed berry. I also had a dark chocolate carmel handmade chocolate which was so delicious I didn't have time to take a picture of it. Staff were very kind and eager to offer suggestions with a smile.
