Should really stop making radio adds and phone calls reminding people how desperate they are for donations. I have been turned away twice now on my last two donations, once because I had returned from a vacation to Florida 1 day shy of their manditory wait period. The second I was stuck in traffic and missed my appointment by 10 minutes. No phone listed on google or within the app to call and see if I should even keep coming. The limited clinic times and weird hours makes it impossible for people to make short notice appointments. There needs to be a better system or a walk in clinic. No wonder they are short donors.I won't be back until they get some things sorted out.

Friendly staff, clean and inviting facilities with a spacious waiting area. The donation process is efficient and hassle-free with snacks once the deed is done. I found the needle insertion to be rather painful but on the whole, a fulfilling and rewarding experience.

Went here for my first blood donation, and the staff and volunteers were extremely sweet and kind! They made my experience very enjoyable, explained everything they were doing, and I felt all my nervousness melt away very quickly :) Will definitely be going back!

Very clean facilities! Friendly and helpful staff. They have private rooms so discussions are not heard from the whole lobby and this location feeds into a mall with a food court.

I was a first-time donor, and the entire staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful! I started to feel faint during my donation, and was immediately surrounded by four nurses who supported me and made sure my health was top priority. The facility is clean and well-organized, and the process is super streamlined to help your donation go as fast as possible. The screening process took place in a private room so you didn't have to share your medical history with the entire lobby, and their Covid-19 protocols made me feel safe the whole time. Overall, a very good experience, and even though my personal donation didn't go as planned, I wouldn't hesitate to consider donating here again.

Very professional helpful and friendly staff. They're very thankful and appreciative of your donation. The process is very efficient and streamlined. They have great snacks before you donate and a nice cafe to recover in after you donate.

I was very disappointed with the way I was handle when I inquired about my eligibility as a donor. It was automatically assumed I was an alcoholic due to the fact I had to have a liver transplant and I was dismissed immediately. When in fact I had a rare combination of two liver diseases one is called Auto immune hepatitis which is my body rejected my healthy liver. I was very offended by they way this was handle. When I was simply wanting to give back after receiving blood during my surgery. Very undiplomatic.

The staff are usually nice, but some of them don't have the required experience. After donating many times in Ontario prior to moving to Halifax, I found both not on the same level.

I came to the site by bus, around 50 minutes from my apartment, but the didn’t allow me to enter because I forgot to bring my Id card. I don’t know why they are so strict, I have everything on my phone, passport, ID card and driving license but still they did not allow me to get inside. This is my first time going to donate and I didn’t see anything while I was booking about bringing an ID card with me. We are in 21 century everything is digital why they don’t accept digital copies??!!!
