Choppan Kabob Restaurant
Very nice place, we went to dine in as a family. The food was delicious, with great taste and aroma.They have choices for children. The restaurant is very clean and well designed.The staff are courteous and polite.Excellent value for the money.We recommend this restaurant

Choppan Kabob Restaurant
I ordered food online and I found it average. I have myself worked in an Afghani restaurant when I was a new comer in Canada. I was expecting the same quality and taste but I was disappointed. The naan is not at all like we used to make in the restaurant. It is just like the packaged naan we get in Walmart. I felt I over paid for the food.

If I could give a negative star rating I would start there.Worst experience ever with this restaurant. We have been going there for over 10 years, knew previous owners well. Had nothing but the best experiences then. We have tried this now twice with the new owners and it has been awful. They should not be allowed to stay open. From the long grain rice, to the superstore naan bread reheated and the sauces out of jars this is not authentic food at all. We will never go here again. So sad to see such a great place go downhill so fast.I wish I could get my money back!

**update: it’s the next day and I am pretty sick from this food, beware!!**Absolutely horrible. I drove very far to try this place out, as soon as I walked in my heart dropped. Ordered the tikka and shami and the portions were absolutely ridiculous for $20, I understand it’s inflation but this is legal theft. The kabob was super salty and over cooked. I will have heart burn for days. I came out with my clothes smelling like Masala. Take a look of the photos and I don’t have to say more, you can see it was kicked by a lot of angry customers with lots of shoe marks. By the way this is not Afghani food.

Just had lunch here and wow. So so delicious!They were really friendly here as well. The location was easy to find, has a lot of parking spots (inside a plaza) and its a large and beautiful location.They were fairly quick preparing our food and it was extremely tasty. Not too spicy either.4 meals (incl. Rice, salad, bread) came to a total of $55.

Once the food arrived we knew something was wrong. Food didn’t look Afghani at all. Naan was bought from a grocery store and reheated. Waiter confirmed management changed from Afghan owners to Indian owners which further supports the Indian menu items which don’t belong in an Aghan restaurant. Furthermore the chicken was undercooked and the kebab was still damp in the middle which means it wasn’t cooked either. Doubt this place remains in business for long, don’t come here

Thursday July 07,2022Our first visit to this location in Kitchener.Great customer service and great menu.Delicious food with large portions pictures says it all.Served with complimentary bottle water and dessert on the house.Thank you for your special treats.Prices are very reasonable!Highly recommended to visit and enjoy their menu items.
