I drove along Hedge road during sunset. The view of the lake and sunset was breathtaking. It is a residential area and has no parking spot along the road. I pulled up along the cliff but locals warned that cliff suffers from water erosion so don't risk getting too close to the drop.

Beautiful architecture and grounds. Built in 1876 and located on the banks of Lake Simcoe.

St. George's Anglican Church
This historic Anglican Church is located at the north end of Sibbald Provincial Park. Its all stone construction dates back to the 1800's. Graves of Canadian authors Stephen Leacock and Mazo de la Roche are to be found in the cemetery by Lake Simcoe. Several generations of the original Sibbald family are also interred there.

Excellent cemetery, a few notable authors are buried here, (Stephen Leacock and Mazo De La Roche) beautiful old church as well. Definitely worth a visit for History hounds!

This scenic historic church at Sibbald's Point sits on ground where there has been continuous worship for 180 years. The graveyard contains the remains of the famous Canadian humourist, Stephen Leacock and Mazo de la Roche, author of the Jalna novels.

St. George's Anglican Church
Very nice old church. The trees here are amazing. The church asks for a donation to visit. There is a historical plate here and an old graveyard.
