Tip Top (Tailors since 1909)

Went to the store to buy suit but (Jay)the guy helping me was not at all helpful as I asked him to try the suit with everything, he replied that he will only let me try if I buy it. It was not at all good on his part because I was gonna buy the suit but now I am never coming back to this location because of their attitude.

Doing a trip to this store was my first choice for my graduation suit. Unfortunately the service was too pushy and the employee (jay) seemed to only care about his commission. This gentleman kept trying to find ways for me to purchase some “package” so everything would be cheaper and I wasn’t interested in it, as I let him know politely. And still after that he was still pushing me and my girlfriend to purchase this package. Then he hits us with the “please if you won’t buy anything don’t waste my time”I felt not appreciated, and it felt wrong. This isn’t the kind of service you should offer to your costumers.

Amazing service! Super friendly and helpful staff even though they were understaffed. Came in and left within an hour with everything we needed and exactly the way we wanted it! 10/10 will recommend to friends!

I was very happy with the sales rep and selection at Tip Top White Oaks and went in on a recommendation from a co-worker. We were attending a corporate event away from home. I received many compliments on my new jacket - looks great.The coordinated pant was from another suit in the line up looks good too. But they have no belt loops...Who makes a suit pant without belt loops? there are two on the front where you expect them to be. I didn't put a belt on in the store. I get to my event - no belt loops.A Sales Rep has to tell a guy about this.Sorry for 2Star but that's not good service or design.

Whenever I’m looking for something nicer looking to wear this store is my go to. Everything is always good quality and the customer service is genuinely the best I’ve experienced in a store.While all the employees are good at what they do, J (Omonigho) stands out. Every time I’ve had him assisting me he’s gone above and beyond. He always had great recommendations and knows what looks good on you, but he’s never pushy and wants you to be happy with what you’re wearing.I took a friend there who was suit shopping for his wedding and we weren’t spending a small amount of money (suit looked phenomenal), and J made certain my friend was 100% confidant in his purchase. I can appreciate valuing customer satisfaction over just trying to make a quick sale and send people out the door.Overall, great store and I’d recommend it to anyone.

I came in a few days ago in need of a suit and Adam came in and helped me with what I need. He showed good service, was patient, and had very good attitude. Great experience.

The person who helped us was great!Paid to have the pants adjusted, but they completely ruined them instead. Completely unusable as-is, but thankfully I have someone who should be able to fix them for me.You'd think they would have at least fixed the problem, or at least refund the money for the adjustment or something, but instead I ended up paying even more, for the vest they forgot to include.Definitely the last place I'd go for a suit. I was warned about them, but thought I'd give them a chance. My advice to anyone thinking of going here for anything that might need some sort of adjusting, don't do it.Wedding is this weekend, and I've got to try and rush to get the pants fixed, or I'll be forced to buy another pair.... But I guarantee you it won't be from here.Great staff, but horrible service.Update June 12: I was able to return the suit, minus the pants because they had been hemmed, for a refund.The only reason I kept it at 3 stars is for the sake of full disclosure of the situation.I still paid $30 for the tailor to ruin the pants. This situation would have rendered the pants completely unusable for me, and they wouldn't have been able to fix the issue in time for the event, and I still paid for it even though it was their mistake.Thankfully, my mother in-law was able to fix the pants to for me, but didn't end up needing the suit after all. I'm thankful that they still allowed me to return the rest of the suit at least.I wouldn't go back again, not because their service is bad or anything wrong with the product. I just wouldn't trust their tailor with anything I purchase, so I'm better off to go somewhere else for a suit.
