Absolutely, positively, the best dog walker experience we have ever had. Sonja and the Hound Academy have been with us for three years now, and never had there been a more caring and compassionate professional. I would recommend Sonja for any and all canine services she provides, she is truly a second mother to our pup, and treats her with the kindness, caring, and compassion that all dogs deserve.

The Hound Academy has been working with my dogs for over 3 years. When we go away for holidays I feel absolutely comfortable with Sonja caring for them. I have two very different breeds of dog (Basset Hound and Border Collie) and Sonja works with each of them to make sure all their individual needs are catered to. It is so re assuring to know she is caring for them while we are away!! Through her walks with them, she has even helped with their leash manners!! We were most fortunate to have found Sonja and the Hound Academy.Much had been said about Sonja’s knowledge and abilities with various breeds, so we reached out to her in early 2021 to assist with our new to the family rescued reactive female German Shepard. Severe trust issues.Those first few sessions were nothing short of interesting as the Princess can be a ‘tad quirky’ at times. Sonja did not shy away, stayed the course, and quickly built an incredible bond with our girl. Now coming and going as part of the pack.By nature, Sonja has done so much more than just popping by for a couple of walkies a week, she went above and beyond in helping to reintegrate and socialize a deserving soul and we will be forever grateful for her time, thoughtfulness, and friendship.B&B
