Maples Multiplex Arena

The arena is starting to show it's age but is still a good rink. Has 4 medium sized dressing rooms. A small skate sharpening/pro shop and a canteen. Lots of parkings. Next to Seven Oaks Pool. Has a small toboggan hill close by , a park and soccer fields.

The park has an older play structure and a small community centre. There is an indoor rink with one sheet of ice. Large field for the kid to run around. Good for more kite flying.

A nice big rink with lots of seating for the fans. The dressing rooms are oddly shaped and seemed like a last minute addition. The canteen is one of the best in the city. Excellent fries, chicken fingers, and taco in a bag. Prices are fair (cheap!) for the amount you get. They also have debit which is rare and most rinks.

Good community rink. Opened in 1990. Good ice and benches. Clean dressing rooms, little on the smaller side for adults but not bad. Showers per dressing room. Proshop and canteen.

ZERO STARS...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT BOOK EVENTS WITH THIS VENUE. (I am talking about the Maples Community Centre building NOT the Maples Multiplex building next to it)I booked an event on October 1st, 2022 from 12noon-3pm months in advance for my Baby Shower/Gender Reveal for my first child. I paid a downpayment of $100 for the venue in cash on March 26, 2022. I was told that every event is given 1 hour prior to the event to set up and 30 minutes after the event to clean up. I received a confirmation that morning reminding me of my booking from 12noon-3:30pm. I even called a week or two prior to the event to confirm my booking and to ask if they had enough tables and chairs for 170 people. The woman on the phone said they could accommodate and since I had that many people they would give me an extra 30 minutes on top of the hours to setup and have some staff to help as well.On Saturday, October 1st at 10:30am I had friends and family waiting outside of the venue but there was no one to open the doors for us. I kept calling the venue but no one was answering. We event ended up calling MLA to the contact number of the owner of the building and they said they would contact the owner and get back to us. THEY HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT OUR EVENT ON THIS DAY. Finally, my dad found someone at the Multiplex building who opened the doors for us at around 11:20am. We were given less than the contracted hour to setup AND CLEAN UP the garbage that was left lying around the gym. One staff member came to help and said he was only supposed to be at the venue at 12noon. I told him there needed to be some kind of compensation because there was no way I was going to be able to start my program on time.By 12noon we were still setting up the place. In my program, I was scheduled to stream the gender reveal live at 2:30pm and right before the reveal the staff member was telling me there was an event after and I needed to start cleaning up and made me speak to his manager over the phone. This upset me because i still had a whole hour left in my booking confirmation and it was their fault that everything was late and delayed to begin with.I'm happy I found out the gender of my first child but I was an emotional wreck. The management of this place ruined this memory for me and I pray this doesn't happen to anyone else. SO PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND STRESS AND BOOK YOUR EVENTS ELSEWHERE.

Very clean and good heat only thing is the drive to it can be horrible but that's the maples.

No service. I wanted information on kids sports programs in this location. Maples does not have any information workers do not know their jobs it's a joke.

Great venue for a large social. Lots of space and a lot of parking.

Only place I've been able to play hockey under the COVID restrictions since all the arenas were forced to close in October 2020. The ice conditions were exceptionally good. The only downside is the dressing rooms. Even with the reduced numbers of players/goalies allowed to play, the dressing rooms are very small.
