My complaints about this group are the following:(a) All of the events and activities scheduled take place during the day when most people are at work.(b) All of the activities are aimed at seniors or stay-at-home parents. If you are neither a senior or a stay-at-home parent the events do not offer much for you.It could be a very useful group but unfortunately it seems to not be of much use to the vast majority of the English-speaking population.

This non-profit organization helps the most vulnerable members of our community by offering them services and activities that keeps them connected to the community and amongst themselves. Seeing the smiling faces of lonely seniors makes it all worthwhile. VEQ is staffed by dedicated individuals who take their work to heart.On a related point, my company has used VEQ's employment services to find competent, English-speaking employees for my company on several occasions in the past years, with excellent success.

Voice Of English-Speaking Québec
I don't find much use for an organization like this. It is poorly run by inexperienced 20-30 year olds with sparse activity only engaging seniors or very young children.It would be nice if it was place that everyone was welcome and maybe if they put more effort into their events. Surely hiring a more experienced staff would increase the success of such an organization.

This organization made my time in Quebec a lot more enjoyable and welcoming. Would recommend volunteering if you can or just attending their events and workshops.
