Sylvan Learning of London

After only 12 hours of the Sylvan program we noticed a big improvement with reading, and confidence. The centre is warm and inviting, with friendly staff. My daughter looks forward to going, and is excited about collecting tokens for prizes. I highly recommend Sylvan!

Sylvan pretty good boosting your child knowledge on specific subjects. There's a token system which if your on task you get tokens which you can use to get stuff like bouncy balls. Sylvan helps with learning like if your child is behind on math or language then sylvan is good to help boost the kids skill on that subject.

Sylvan has made a tremendous impact for my son and his learning. When he started he struggled with reading and sounding out words. Now he can read with confidence and is excelling in school. Sylvan has been an amazing help.

I have both my 13 and 15 year old children at Sylvan. My 13 year old has been attending Sylvan for several years. My son would not be where he is today in his confidence in math and in his ability to succeed at school if he did not attend Sylvan! Sylvan made the difference for my daughter to succeed at high school academic math. I appreciate Sylvan's flexibility in scheduling as they have accommodated our busy sports schedules many times! They have been great in adding in extra sessions when needed prior to high school exams! Overall, Sylvan has helped us raise confident, academically successful children - I highly recommend it.

We have been very happy with the a accommodations made at Sylvan London for our son. Andrea has been great at communicating how our son is progressing and coming up with a plan going forward for him. She has been upfront on what is and is not working. The service has been great. My son gets excited about going and enjoys being there. That is such a huge part of getting him to engage and do the work.

Thank you! Because of the pandemic, my daughter became quite behind in her reading. She's was in grade 2 at a kindergarten level. After finishing Sylvan, she's reading everything and has gained alot more confidence in herself. She loves to read now and Sylvan is to thank for that. They have amazing tutors and they also make you feel at home! If your looking for a great tutor Sylvan is the way to go!!! It was worth every minute. Thanks again!

I can't say enough good things about Sylvan! The reading/literacy support they have provided to my daughter for the past ten months has been invaluable. Within that time my daughter's reading level has improved from an SK level to a Grade 2 level. My daughter is fortunate to go to a good school, but the low student-teacher ratio at Sylvan has really helped to build her ability and confidence. Sylvan has such a positive atmosphere, balanced with just enough structure and with incentives that make sense to the students. The staff are unbelievable. They are so supportive and they honestly care how your child is doing. They are always willing to spend time talking with you about your child's development. And they are so flexible with scheduling...never been a problem. Going to Sylvan has been a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you!

I have been using the services of Sylvan now for over 15 years with a daughter who is now 23 and going to veterinarian school and another daughter who is in grade ten. Both daughters did not enjoy Math and or felt they were not good in Math. The key has been to review before school starts and repetition over the years!! Each daughter has had excellent instruction from the teachers which have changed over the years and both the owner Andrea and the head instructor Cheri do a great job of identifying gaps in learning and overseeing a long term instructional plan. They have accessed instruction in Math, English, Spanish, Science and French. My older daughter started in high school with the math program but was able to catch up over the years and loves Math and took many Math courses in university. She actually felt it changed the way she learns Math. My other daughter enjoys school and feels very confident in Math and is in French Immersion immersion. The instructors take their work very seriously and are committed to encouraging a love of learning!! I was the Head of a Guidance department at the secondary level so I highly recommended the services to my students in all areas particularily in English and Math. An added bonus is that they do have instructors who can also teach in Spanish and French which has been very helpful to my daughter !! We enrolled my son with Sylvan Learning in London to help him get a head start entering Grade 1. I feel that the early years of learning are very important and was concerned that my son would be returning to school after falling behind in reading and math due to the school closures.We are very pleased as he is now progressing very well in Grade 1 and his confidence has grown immensely. I could not be more happy with the work and progress that Sylvan as made with our son Nash. Math and reading have always been difficult subjects, but with the support of the wonderful teachers at Sylvan and the individualized attention he has received, his grades have dramatically increased. He has grown in his confidence and for the first time is excited about a report card.
