It's been about a month since I brought my Porsche to Mantis for an IMS bearing replacement. So far the car is running perfectly and I've had zero issues. I wanted to highlight the courteous and accommodating staff. They did everything I asked for including switching oil brands to providing the new part's shipping box with the old part inside. They even came in $100 cheaper than the original quote. It doesn't get much better than that. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The team at Mantis has taken care of me and my Porsche over the past few years. They have always done an excellent job of taking care of my car through and through, and commit to completing all repairs and routine maintenance with care.They are honest with their quotes, and always call me get permission before performing any additional work. They've gone above and beyond in honouring warranty work for me, and more often than not, have always gotten me out of a bind when no one else could. Happy to be doing business with the Mantis Team.

Was not happy with the service when I brought in my Porsche to a “Porsche Specialist”. The IMS/RMS on my 911 needed upgrading. Now I have oil spots on my garage floor which I never had before. Will not go back. Too expensive and just too many others shops to choose from anyways. Live and learn.

Very unprofessional. I waste my time there for nothing customer service very ugly , I suppose to listen comments below . I came from another city and you lying now that i was tried to move other customer , i was booked my appointment 20 days ago and i am also customer and i was showed up on my time 8:00 so be kind and clear to do ur duties.

Very long story short, Dirk is a “yes man” and will promise you everything but always comes up short. I had to wait over 2.5 years for my car to be completed when he said It would only be a month to build the engine and slap on parts I supplied. I unfortunately was too easy going with Dirk as I understand hiccups but he took advantage of my situation over and over.I still have issues with my car since Dirk didn’t complete the job. I shipped my Porsche across the country only to find out he left me hanging dry with many loose ends after claiming the car was completed. He was fully aware in what state the car was in when I had it picked up from his shop. It has just been one big headache dealing with Mantis and now I have to sue Dirk/Mantis for not completing his end of the deal. Paid for a brand new engine to be built and already the oil is leaking, coolant is leaking, electrical issues plus a bunch of other annoying things he decided not to finish but let my car be shipped. The Porsche dealer in BC doesn’t want to touch it. Nightmare!There are many other shops in the GTA or down the road in Oakville to take your car to if you want a professional Porsche shop. Dirk always blames others for the problems he creates so his response to this review will be the same, he won’t take ownership for all the errors he’s done and the headaches he has caused. Again, the owner of Mantis, Dirk, shipped me my car he fully knew wasn’t finished but he didn’t care anyways! That should tell you what you need to know about his unprofessional work.Trust me, stay away from here it’s just not worth the hassle!

Dirk and his team installed a new engine in my Porsche as well as various peripheral components. I was impressed by the knowledge and advice he shared with me during this complex undertaking and attention to details. The work was done right the first time out of the gate with no adjustments required :)- satisfied and impressed at that !I fired it up today and brought it out of hibernation - it purrs like a porsche should :)Folks, if your looking for a new home for your porsche you will not be disappointed. I plan to use Mantis for some other upgrades/service in the near future and highly recommend this team of experts as their knowledge and customer service is second to none IMHO.Pete M.

Mantis is the only place I would take my Porsche. Their customer service and expertise is exceptional. I would highly recommend their services. Honest and reliable with top notch mechanics. No other shop like this in Southwestern Ontario.
