Amazing, creative wedding floristMichelle was a phenomenal wedding florist in her creativity, reliability and reasonable pricing. She found a way to stretch our budget to create the most stunning backdrop for our indoor wedding ceremony (at the Rosemount Inn), and created a bridal bouquet that took my and my mother’s breath away. The boutonnieres were refined, delicate and a piece of art unto themselves. She’s also really fun to communicate with and a delight to work with. I can’t speak highly enough of her work as a very happy customer and bride!

Last week I contacted Michelle as I wanted to send an arrangement to my sister for her birthday. Not living in KIngston myself I pursued the various florists and Chartreuse seemed to stand out as being unique. Michelle and I talked in some detail about the arrangement and I sent her a few photos to give her an idea of what I wanted. Not only did she meet my expectations, she far surpassed them and the arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to use unusual flowers and had a particular look and colour in mind and Michelle got it in spades! She even had it delivered at precisely the right moment; while my sisters and I were having a zoom call. My sister is absolutely thrilled - even the container was perfect! A week later the flowers that were in bud are opening and the arrangement is still stunning as you can see from the photos. Thank you Michelle - you clearly put a lot of time, love and effort into your masterpieces and it shows!

Michelle did the flowers for my wedding and they were spectacular! My bouquet was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She is great with customization, and it was easy to just tell her what I did and didn’t want, and have her take care of the rest. Her prices are also quite reasonable for the high quality of her work.

I contacted Michelle (from Toronto) as I was looking for a florist in Kingston to deliver a subscription of fresh cut flowers to somebody local. We chatted on the phone about what I was looking for and pricing and she was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating! The first arrangement arrived and they were fresh, colourful and beautifully arranged with detailed information on how to care for them. I was very impressed and the recipient was very happy with her gift as well. I would definitely recommend Michelle and Chartreuse Flower works for excellent customer service and beautiful floral arrangements.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with right from the start. I provided some examples of things I liked and Michelle took it from there. She provided amazing arrangements while working within my budget. All the flowers were gorgeous: bouquets, boutonnières, centre pieces and arch (created with Q Design). She dropped off the flowers to multiple locations on the day of the wedding and wrote me a card to wish me luck. Everything surpassed my expectations by a mile.

I'm so grateful to have found someone I can trust to fulfill special plans on special days (or ordinary days made special) for special friends. Both the bouquet and service were superlative. My lady remarked how sweet she found the owner, Michelle's, note to be. I had to reschedule the delivery date as she was out of the office on V-Day. Michelle, unbeknownst to me, indicated on the delivery note that I had not forgotten the day but simply made arrangements ahead of time to deliver upon her return. She sounded more touched by Michelle's sentiments than mine! The lady was floored and, in turn, so have I. Thank you! Chartreuse has meant one less thing to worry about with this LDR. Phew!

I must have caught the owner on a bad day! I tried to send a nice bouquet to my elderly aunt who lost her husband (my uncle) this week. The e-commerce experience was really confusing compared to other floral shops I've ordered from (many across Canada), I would recommend that the owner look into shopify apps for a more professional checkout.She called me asking for my aunts phone number and was *so* rude, when I asked why she would need that (again my aunt is grieving and I don't know that she is answering calls - I was going to give a different family members number if it was related to delivery) and said in the absolute snarkiest, nastiest tone Well you spent uhh $150 on flowers it doesn't make sense to risk having these disappear now does it?"I told her I'd give another family members phone number but that she needed to be a little nicer since our family is going through a hard time and her customer service could be a lot better.
