Very cute and new croissant store! They gives you that cute box for free as well. I would def come back! Japanese style very cute and decent place to go!! And the manager was so sweet. She let me know what should I buy, and her recommendation was so yummy.

The croissants here are buttery and flaky and some of the flavours they have are absolutely delicious. We tried a few flavours and the Truffle Crab was our absolute favourite. The truffle cream sauce went perfectly with the crab and the combination was delicious. The Salted Egg Yolk was quite sweet which threw me off a bit. The others that we tried were pretty much what you'd expect from it. We tried the Butter Garlic, Golden Cheese and the Smoked cheese chicken in the savoury croissants. The Hazelnut Chocolate and the Coffee Mascarpone & Chocolate were pretty good too.Their croissants are between $4-$6.50 which isn't a bad price point, especially considering some of their offerings. The drinks were pretty good as well, we got a small refresher (Blue Sparkling Lemonade) for free with 6 croissants that we got and we also got a Rose latte. The drinks can be upsized for less than a dollar ($0.30-$0.50) so would definitely suggest doing that. The place has ample parking as it is in a plaza situated near universities.

Exotic variety of croissants, coffees, teas, and refreshers which you don't see anywhere else. Nice location which is clean inside. The drinks are good - a bit sweet but as expected. The service is a bit slow with only one person making drinks so expect to wait a bit if you order a drink. One thing to note is that they l won't necessarily have all the croissants that are on the digital menu so you will have to choose based on what is in the display case.

This place is great but expensive, and I dont know if its great enough to be worth the expense. I do find them to have very carefully curated options and amazing customer service. I think as a specialty bake shop it does very well, and there is not anything like it in the region from my knowledge. I would say by the end of the day some of the croissants are heavier, and not as flaky, so go in the morning !

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered 1 strawberry croissant and 1 salted egg yolk croissant. We agreed that the strawberry one was the winner! The whipped cream with the buttery, flakey pastry was delicious! Although we enjoyed both pastries, we agreed that they were just not worth the price. We likely won’t be returning.

Their dessert croissants are not too sweet which I really love. Can't say I'm thrilled about their savory croissants (a bit dry). Their drinks are beautiful, but also tasted okay.

Delicious croissants. They were very flaky and the cream inside the croissants were delicious. A little pricey for croissants and their size but it tasted good!

I have had many debates lately over whether Golden Harvest or Sabeltine makes the best Croissant in KW, both of which are excellent. Hazukido is a relatively new entry into the Croissant wars, but avoids the war by carving out a new niche: bringing asian sensibilities to a french classic.Hazukido croissants are smaller than the aforementioned bakeries entries, and do not develop amazing crisp flakiness, but instead won me over with their inventiveness bringing the same creativity to croissants as Lady Glaze brings to the donut. There was a huge variety of croissants to choose from, but I chose the chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, raspberry panna cotta, almond creme, and chocolate banana. Each croissant was excellent and kept its structure well even after being filled. The plain chocolate was particularly delicious and kept the most flakiness. All the fillings were excellent and the ratios were good so you got some in every bite. The raspberry panna cotta was more of a custard than a true panna cotta but was delicious all the same. The only miss for me was the white chocolate Croffle which to me has neither of the joys of a croissant nor a waffle and the white chocolate was too thick and overpowered the whole thing.Because I didn't want to go into a diabetic coma I shared the half dozen croissants with friends and everyone raved about them.I do not often go down to the Universities, but when I do it will take all my willpower from overindulging at Hazukido again.

been to a few of their other locations & enjoyed their croissants. super happy for this expansion here at waterloo!visited around 6pm before their grand opening & there were still a few different flavours of croissants! tried their truffle crab, hazelnut chocolate & strawberry cream one! also tried the matcha croffle, chocolate criscuits, & brown sugar bubble tea. the bubble tea was a bit watered down & most of the brown sugar flavour came from the tapioca. i did really enjoy the chocolate criscuits tho & service was amazing!menu is displayed on tv screens & also at the counter. it is a small space so there is no seating offered.this is in the university shops plaza making it really convenient for a quick, light snack. there is parking lot for parking.

Flakey and delicious Japanese croissants...Ours stayed flakey even after a day of being in the fridge. It seems pricey at first, but honestly these are worth every penny! If you buy 6 they don't charge tax and offer a free drink (limited options).Their store is small but bright and clean. If you come later in the day, the selection will be more limited.
