Leduc Recreation Centre

When we were paying to get in to use the pool facilities, we asked about lockers. We were informed that smaller lockers were 50 cents and a large was a dollar. So, we find out that because we are paying with a debit card, they wont give us change for the lockers. They can't add 2 dollars on during the transaction and give change for their own locker fees. The cashier, who was very snippy about being asked for change, told us we had to go to the other end of the rec center, use an ATM machine, take out 20 dollars, come back and then she can give change. This is a terrible customer service system. I used to like coming here. Other than that, it's a good rec center.

We were staying in Leduc for the weekend and went to the pool for open swim Sunday afternoon and then again Monday morning. We loved it. Such a nice pool. The waterslide was perfect for my 6 yr old, and kiddie area was super fun for my 3 yr old(and my 6 yr old loved it too) The hot pool near the kids area was amazing. We didn't go in the lap pool or the hot tub. The lifeguards were all really great, especially on the Monday morning. Just so super friendly. Oh also, the water temperature was perfect for us. We just really enjoyed our time here!

Overall, this is a very well-rounded facility with most of the equipment you’d ever want. There is ample variety of equipment and space to exercise, even though this visit was done at a peak time. In addition, there are many fitness alternatives and other activities to perform in this facility as well.

Was a volunteer at a car show held at the rec centre. Always like the variety of old cars. As a senior I wish they had washrooms more closer to doors instead of way down long hallway in the middle of such a large complex.

This place is GREAT if you have younger kids. It has an option for the kids to play in the shallow end of the pool or go to a “deep end” more child friendly (about 5.5 ft deep) and there is a 2nd pool right beside it with the option to go deeper if the kids feel comfortable. Their is also 2 hot tubs ! The staff was super friendly and informative for our first visit being out of town and not knowing the pool as well.

Very friendly staff, the facility is always clean, so many options for you and your family, and there are so many programs for you to use and explore. Have had multiple friend and family parties here and the rooms are sized well, priced fairly, and they are flexible (if it’s not booked solid) in extending your stay if needed. They only issue I have with this rec center is the kids play zone. It’s very small, not much in the zone, the staff seems very strict about any child over 7 in the play zone, and it can get quite cluttered for parents. I think there’s 3 benches in there for parents. It’s very small compared to stalbert, Sherwood park, and others around the capital region.

If your kid is under 8 do not even bother. The lifeguards are absolutely useless. They make you hold your kids hand the entire visit. 12in water is too tall for a 7 year old apparently…. Will never be going back.

The most well designed and entertaining pool. We travel from south Edmonton to go to this pool with our kids. We have been going here since the kids were babies. They are now over 10 and still have fun here. They love the rope swing and climbing wall.

It's a beautiful facility and everything you would want in a recreation centre, including the awesome water park. We had the opportunity to attend a tournament and the rink set-up is great.
