Cultus Lake

Nice place to spend time with your family... The lake is really beautiful surrounded by mountains...The best time to visit is during Summer, as the temperature will be hot, but the water will be cold and you can swing,if you bring a small boat can ride it, Which will be really awesome.There is also a pedal boat, which can be used by a minimum of 2 members.Car parking is paid 5 dollars at the start and each hour it's 4 dollars there are 3 machines guess one of them is not working.

Not too far from the Vancouver, this is a great place to bring the family for a day or for longer than a week.There are several large camping sites by the lake & lots of easily available facilities for everyone. If you would like more amenities, there are some rusty cabins or some modern accommodations to book!There are restaurants by the entrance & several convenience stores along the main road around the lake so you don't need to leave to get what you need.If you need a break from the water, there are several hikes to explore, the most popular being the short & sweet Teapot Hill hike!

Great place in the off season but very bad in the summer. Horrible road planning and too much tourism spots as well as communities built out there all running on the same road that's not upgraded other then a roundabout. Camping is packed with city folk who don't clean up well or store food properly. Other then that enjoy

Nice place for a family picnic, swimming and boating but parking is expensive 25$ for 4 hours. Benches and nice trees for the picnic.Restrooms are available and clean. Rental boats and food stores are nearby but fully crowded on Sunday.

Awesome scenery and lake with the coolest outdoor Waterpark we've ever been to. We're booking a trip there right now for this summer. It's like West Edmonton mall Waterpark but outside and in B.c. LOVE IT

One of my favourite lakes I have ever visited. Cultus lake is huge with several different swimming spots. You can find everything you are looking for in this Lake: Boat rentals, paddle boards, jet ski, restaurants etc. I will suggest the Picnic area swimming spot since Peking is free there.

Just a review of the beaches at Cultus - water is pretty warm in the summer and the beaches are packed with people. If it's a weekend come early, or there's guaranteed to be ZERO parking available. We prefer Maple Bay from the main beach options here. The beaches are rocky as well and not that sandy, so make sure to bring something you can wear on your feet in the water.

Very beautiful location but can get quite crowded as so many places sadly, but still worth a trip or even better camping, if you can get a site.
