Harris Kia Service

Edit: Harris Kia owner arranged to have the air conditioning fixed. Took 3 additional visits. Upping the review to 3 stars from one.Failed to fix an air conditioner warranty claim twice. Even tried to bill me for a refrigerant recharge which is warranty covered. Now that I'm 3 months out of warranty they won't help me.Besides that they are rather expensive, up-sell, and schedule service twice as often as the warranty specifies.

Absolutely awful. For basic maintenance for the 40000 km service it cost over $1200. My car was not specifically broken or having issues. This is what it cost just for routine service.I’d been warned the Nanaimo dealership is generally more expensive than other kia dealerships but I chose to have the routine service done in Nanaimo anyways for the convenience of it being completed while I was at work. Big mistakeWithin 6 minutes of their posted opening hours I received a bombshell text listing over $1200 in “required” maintenance services. And a few others they recommended. When I bought it I’d been hoping for a reliable cost saving vehicle but that is not the experience you will have at Harris kia. I recommend to anyone stuck taking their kia to the dealerships to maintain the warranty to avoid this place- Courtenay kia was friendly and not pushy with recommendations at all.

The service manager handled things well however when I came in the first two times staff barely acknowledged me when I came in and looked like I was inconveniencing them with questions.

NEVER EVER! Lindsay in service is the most UNPROFESSIONAL employee we have ever had to deal with. AVOID this place!

Love love Harris Kia, I will not ever buy from anyone else. I love my Kia. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I won't take my Kia anywhere else for servicing.

Service like no other, feels like a family run buissnes .Open ears for all your car related wishes and questions...Amazing folks ... perfect product ... KIA galore ...

Although I like kia, I find no matter the issue there is a huge push to always charge for a diagnostic fee. No courtesy free check even if its a small issue
