Jo-Kat Lodge/Camp/Hotel

Staff was friendly. The ladies were doing an awesome job of keeping the rooms clean and getting other cleaning tasks done to freshen up the place. The food was ok. Some days were better than others, so you could tell when some thought went into the meal planning. I have stayed there a couple of times and I must admit, the last time was much better than the first time. Maybe it is a woman thing, but I find that the attention to detail is more there when the ladies were looking after things as opposed to when the men are there. I know it can be a busy place, but maybe management needs to consider having 3 or 4 people on duty when it is a full house instead of just 2 people. Things get missed in cleaning when they don't have enough time to tackle the work load. I also found the beds uncomfortable to sleep in. I may have to pack a foam mattress if I ever get sent back.

Super nice will refer family and friends. Worth the trip food is the stuff!

Hard to put this place into words. You would be better off sleeping in your truck

Good people good food clean rooms reasonably quiet

A small camp, if you come in expecting a CNRL sized camp you will be disappointed. This is nice and small, the staff are friendly and pleasant to talk with. My only complaint is the gym is a 5 minute drive away. Either way I would recommend to any person to stay here.

The food was decent but it could have better for the price paid. There were a lot of drink choices and fresh fruit.The staff were approachable but not completely engaging or wanting speak with customers.

A gem to find. Haven't tried the food in the restaurant yet (as a guest they'll cook for you). I don't believe it's open to the public.The rooms are nice! Do try and give the owner a little notice before you show up. If you want to stay there at night, then call in the morning so she can plan.There is a small convenience store next door (owned by someone else) and they have an excellent selection of snacks, drinks and other food.

No restaurant..we serve the publicWell no we dont serve the public..Are u open or closed... can i get a meal... do you open at 4pm for supper.. 6pm... 7pm..It used to be a place we could count on for a decent meal...At present dont even consider it as a viable place to count on or stop.

My only real complaint was the poor wifi.

Great food reasonable prices and don't use the gas station next to it separate but dam expensive the jo-kat is the place if u want food n rest big truck far as I know athabasca is closest ufa
