Wellesley Apartments

The management and staff at this building have provided me with an extremely positive experience. Adam and Edward were super helpful with my application and move-in process. Maintenance requests are processed promptly and professionally. The property manager, Marilena, is incredibly kind and she’s also been enthusiastic to help with any issues I may have had. I really feel welcomed at Wellesley Apartments and would be happy to recommend it to anyone I know.

Staff:Amazing staff there! If you look for a place where the people treat you nice, with respect, this is the place!I’m so pleased with their treatment of me. Adam and Edward went above and beyond to help me to find my new place and I’m really grateful for that.Building:The building is clean with an amazing view from the pool and gym and the apartment has an excellent space. I really recommend it!

Worst management in terms of handling maintenance work of building. During holiday season in Christmas they left us with no hot water and with no clue when they gonna fix it. We were without water for a day. I don’t recommend the neighborhood either, it’s very pathetic condition and anyone can access the building.

The management office staff are friendly and nice, but Capreit itself is terrible at managing the building. Capreit doesn’t care about the tenants, it took them over 2 months to fix extremely easy and simple (but important) service requests I opened in the portal as soon as I moved in and noticed the issues in my unit.There has been a couple of times when maintenance/contractors came to my unit whithout giving any notice, which is disrespectful and not to mention they bang on the doors so loud I was scared to death since this building is not safe at all.Security is a huge problem here, the cameras don’t work properly and the on-site security staff is so bad I’ve been told they even give directions to the rooftop bathroom when homeless people get in the building to take a dump (and sometimes they just do it at stairs or garbage rooms). The elevators and hallways are constantly extremely dirty due to homeless people getting in the building and I believe also tenats who don’t care and just litter inside their own buildings.The drilling noises are too frequent and not always during regular hours.Also they left us without water for over 12 hours and did not meet the deadline that was given on the notice to turn the water back on. Days after this they left us without hot water for almost 3 days during the holidays.The laundry here is bad too, the machines are always dirty and smell terrible, we need to use extra perfumey laundry stuff added because the towels get that horrible wet smell everytime after being washed & dried. Not to mention all the pet hair in the machines. it seems management never does/hires a steam cleaning service like other buildings do. There are always malfunctioning machines that will take your money and not work or they’ll leave your clothes soaking wet and you’ll have to dry them 3 times and thus spend more money with drying machines.But mostly the worst part is that the building is not safe and there are always homeless people and drug addicts walking in and trying to open doors from floor to floor.Rent here should be WAY CHEAP considering all of this, but it’s quite expensive.

Despite the office staff being nice, Capreit management is terrible. The building is full of pest, from cockroaches to bedbugs. Management started water system maintenance just a few days before Christmas, leaving the building without water for 12 h and without hot water on Christmas for 3 days and counting! Avoid.

Don't rent here. Terrible staff in the office. They are biased(not open minded) if they don't like you and they don't help in any way. If you request repairs on your apartment, they say they have completed them but actually haven't. The security let crack heads hang out in the lobby when this is suppose to be a secure apartment. Stairwells are filthy.

Marilena and her team at 100 Wellesley are the best! My partner and I were stressing about some reno work in our apartment before moving in, but Marilena, Adam and Eduard were so professional and responsive that they put our minds at ease. This team is a keeper!

The location is perfect for my needs with a short walk to the subway, multiple grocery stores and key parts of the city that I visit often. The management team works very hard to promote a sense of community, and have been quick to respond should I need their assistance. The view of the surrounding city from the rooftop pool and gym is spectacular and a key amenity that I use often.

Me and my wife just went through the whole application process and are excited to move in to the building in a couple of months. Adam was the sweetest, most caring rental manager we ever dealt with and really helped us a lot through this process. The building seems committed to renovating common areas and units, as well as keeping a safe community. From what we heard from current and former residents, most of fhe issues described in some reviews here have been or are currently being dealt with. Overall, if you plan on moving into 100 Wellesley, I assure you you won't find a better deal.

The staff here is great! I had the pleasure of taking a tour with Edward a couple months ago, and have been in contact with Adam ever since I signed my lease. Adam is very personable, helpful, and professional. throughout my time here, Adam has been very quick to respond to emails and phone calls! This, along with the building and it's great features ensures me that I made the right choice moving here.
