Mary Brown's Chicken
Yikes! Normally, we get chicken sandwiches and tenders from Popeye’s these days, but this location was more convenient for us today. So we ordered their special “Batter’s Box” plus a sandwich, tenders and coleslaw. (Apparently no more dill pickle chips.) The chicken was pretty good, the sandwich was okay-ish, the tenders were just okay and the coleslaw was rotten. I don’t mean rotten in our opinion, I mean it had turned and was rancid. As bad as it was, as completely foul tasting as it was - the first bite we took and had to spit out gagging - there is NO WAY the restaurant mistakenly gave this to a customer thinking it might just be on the edge. This coleslaw was at least three days past being merely old - this was food poisoning waiting to happen.So, don’t respond to me review and say how you’d like to fix it UNLESS you are willing to refund my money and mail it to me. Cause I’m not going back to Mary Brown’s in Moncton again.

It's worth the 20 minutes it takes me to get here.The staff are always top notch. Happy, friendly and welcoming.Food is always fresh and exactly as ordered, and the dining room has clean and comfortable seating.Its a shame we no longer have more locations.

Disappointed on my last two experiences. Bought the two peice special, which does not have the value of a two piece special, a wing and a thigh. I sent customer service a note, and they basically said that is policy. Their loss. I suggested they might consider charging g a dollar or two more and giving real value.

I've ordered fried chicken from every possible place in Moncton so I can confidently say Mary Brown's is the best! When I order through Skip, it arrives still hot and fresh. I love the consistency. Personally I get the 3 piece spicy chicken+taters+gravy and am always satisfied. Highly recommended to all!

The chicken is rotten 70% of the time; I worked here for around 4 months and I was utterly disgusted by how we prepared the chicken and fries we would put chicken and fries in the same batter thing and only clean it once at the end of the day we also on numerous occasions served chicken past the throw out date because the manager told us they won’t notice *they as in the customers* and they had kids aged 14-16 operating the saw used to cut chicken without masks or proper safety equipment and I myself had cut myself on the blade and what they did was grab my hand and put it under cold water and put a bandaid on it the children also were dropping chicken into the open fryers and would constantly burn themselves and it was common to work open to close shifts. The chicken is rotten
