Black Bear Golf Club
Course was in terrible shape. Tee boxes / greens are horrendous. Grounds keeper was extremely rude / arrogant, unprofessional, and for how he up keeps the course maintained, with his attitude, I think this establishment would be far better off without him.Carts girls and servers were very nice, but cannot get passed the arrogant grounds keeper / tractor boy. Will not be back.

Very nice and well cared for! Friendly staff to help you out! Highly recommended. Weeknight dinner specials are amazing! Had the ribs tonight and I can't express how delicious they are!

Me and my wife have been to the restaurant four times when the web site says its open but turns out to be closed .talked to owner he said not enough staff so open later on weekend so we came back on monday At 8:45 and closed again. Go figure when you give hours for operation you should have to keep them or be charged . Also if you payed better wages you most likely wouldnt have a staff shortage. So you get a F for restaurant to go too!

Not having ribs when advertised as the Special is fine. Being told there are no ribs left after waiting 45 minutes after ordering...is not fine.Reordered a Burger and it was dry, overcooked. We will not be back.

Last evening, Thursday, May 25, 2023, we arrived at Black Bear Golf Club restaurant to enjoy dinner with our neighbours. 3 of 4 ordered rib special. We had waited 45 minutes for our meals when the waitress told us they had run out of ribs. Black Bear burgers were ordered instead, with add ons of fries and coleslaw for an additional $4. When plates arrived we were told there was no coleslaw. There was no compensation offered for lack of coleslaw. There was no adjustment on our bill either. Table was offered a piece of pie to make up for shortage of ribs. We won’t be returning any time soon. So disappointed ☹️

I've only stopped there for rib night on Thursdays, but the food and the staff are both fantastic. Love the bear theme.

Peace mind and nice course especially hole #7 tee which is sitting top of rock and having nice view of 5, 6, 7 and 8...possibly 9, lol!

I decided to have lunch at the black bear golf course restaurant and it was a decision I would not regret. The food was delicious and my waitress was the kindest young lady, Cameron. She was very personable and attentive, she made the whole meal experience wonderful.

We had our annual NUT (Nephews Uncles Tournament) golf game at Black Bear this year 06/08/2022. We started off with breakfast and it was very good. The course was in very good condition with the greens being a bit slow. We finished off with a good lunch. The portion size was good with lots of options. All and all good day and very good Venu.
