Guelph Animal Hospital

We had an urgent matter with our dog and they got us in same day. They're very good and patient with explaining what is wrong. They took the time to listen and educate me. The follow up has been great too. We have had texts checking in and we even got a birthday email for our boy. They're so kind to us humans and our critters. I'm thankful!

We have been seeing the staff at GAH for 10 years now and we have nothing but praise for all of the people we have come into contact with through the years.From caring for our puppies to helping our old girl cross over the rainbow bridge, the staff have always been professional, but also incredibly caring and understanding. Every Dr. We’ve dealt with has been phenomenal and I am so grateful for the love and care they have given us and our animals over the years.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Guelph Animal Hospital! My dog loves going because they treat her so well and are so caring. She recently got sick, and the vet who we took her in to see noticed some very small neurological symptoms, which ended up being a serious condition which would have gotten worse if untreated. The entire staff has been so thorough and patient through the whole process, taking us in emergencies, explaining next steps, calling to check in — and thanks to them, our dog is feeling so much better! I highly recommend Guelph Animal Hospital.

This is a well run clinic but if you are looking for personalized care, this is unfortunately not the right place for you. We saw a different veterinarian and technicians almost every visit. It was hard to build a relationship without any consistency. Sure, my yellow lab is not particularly memorable among many common yellow labs but it wasn't the right fit for us.

We have 2 dogs that come here and our one is a bit of a lemon, so we visit very frequently! The staff are all very friendly and do an amazing job, they always make sure our dogs are welcomed and they get lots of pets from everyone!We do like to try and stick with on dr. Specific to our dogs as we find it easier that way, but every dr. We have seen have been amazing! Dr. Smolkin is just spectacular at her job, a great person! We had our other dog there the other day over a reaction & it was very last minute as it was early in the morning, the team made sure when we got there he would be seen asap! The dr. We did see was very friendly & took him in right away to help us!Highly recommend this vet clinic as they take alot of pride in there work ethic, they always listen to any concerns & you always feel welcome!

Dr Fleming is amazing. I wouldn’t take my ferrets anywhere else. We’ve been with her for 13 years, and she has treated all my pets throughout those years. I love this clinic and all the staff. Everyone is so incredibly nice!

The entire team at GAH, doctors, vet techs, receptionists…have been the absolute best to our sweet girl Holly, and to us! They were instrumental in saving her life last year when we discovered an extremely severe case of autoimmune disease! They have been nothing short of compassionate, caring, and understanding towards our pup and continue to look after her ongoing, lifetime, medical care. We are extremely grateful for every single member of the GAH team! Oh, and Holly loves them all too!

Always make you feel like family. We love the fact that staff always call us a day if two after our visit to ask how our pup is doing.

I've had family and friends come here and everybody talks about how fantastic (that is why I'm giving them five stars lol) everybody is here! I've personally not had any experience with them yet, however I do plan on getting my dog neutered (he's 9 months old now) so making an appointment this week. Cherry eye will probably have to be fixed as well. He's such a great dog, he is my love bug, absolutely loves to be loved!
