Juravinski Hospital Concession Parking Garage

I go for treatments and this is perfect to park here. Would have been better as I am a patient, to not have to pay at all. Patients should get at least 50%off on parking.

This is the parking garage for the Juravinski Hospital buildings. For a hospital this garage isn't very handicap accessible. There are only 2 handicap spots in the lot near the wheelchair entrance. The others are in the garage structure. The parking lot and garage are at the opposite end of the hospital from patient check in which involves an underground hike through tunnels under the hospital buildings which can be a real challenge for the disabled.

When I came into the garage across from the hospital. I drove up to the ticket machine. I press the button and it will give me a ticket. When I park my vehicle. I read on the ticket, take the ticket with you.I had no trouble finding a parking spot, because I came in the evening. I was warned, that if I go through the morning or afternoon, I might find a parking spot empty or someone pulling out.They also have stairs and an elevator to use. I make sure, I know what level I'm parked on. When I used the stairs, the doors have numbers on what level I'm looking for. They have 6 levels.At the main level there is a small office, that is open 8:00am - 4:00pm. You can buy a ticket pass, if you are coming in every day. They will let you know the special rates it will cost. They do accept cash, debit and credit.When I was leaving the garage, I followed the Exit Signs with Arrows. When I got to the end, I would see two Pay Machines. The one on the left side is used for the people who already paid in advance. The one on the right side, I used it to put my ticket in the machine and it will let me know what I have to pay. They accept Credit, Debit and Cash.

This is one of the most poorly maintained parking garages in Hamilton! I have been parking in this facility several time a month since 2017 for cancer treatment. The elevator door in the Poplar Street garage opens and closes so slowly that the alarm sounds every time. The paint is falling off the walls in sheets and the stairways are dreadful. After paying $250.00 for parking, I expect better service, given that there are more concerning health issues anout which to worry than needing to keep checking parking passes that are coded incorrectly or unreadable.

Convenient to hospital-goers, good signage, and accessible pay machines.

Too expensive. I've parked in waaay too many hospital parking lots. London has the best parking garages btw.$15 for 2 hours. Shameful

Keep your ride dry in inclement weather when visiting loved ones at the cancer center/ clinic

It was very busy but the nurses tired to make it easier

Expensive but it has to be for people visitng hospital. Money goes to hospital. I won't complain about the cost. Lot would be full of shoppers etc. otherwise.

The parking is convenient but no in and out passes. I have to pay twice when visiting a patient on the same day two times. If you are visiting patients for longer than a few days you should purchase a pass at the hospital.
