A year ago I had a mountain bike repaired. Manotick Cycle made it good as new. While there picking up my bike, I noticed they did small engine repair. I asked about a Honda 250 motorcycle. Engine runs as good as new now. I just picked up my daughter's hybrid, again as good as new. The young lady who was working was very careful about social distancing" as she gave me the bike and was very polite. A great place to do business."

I have an old CCM Targa bike and the rear rim was warped and spokes broken or bent to the point it was unsafe to ride. I took it to another repair place and they couldn't repair, nor find parts. I took it to Ron at Manotick Cycle and he fixed it as good as new! He's been in business for 40+ years and so has parts that can no longer be found. It's great to have my old bike back and running as good a new. I therefore highly recommend Manotick Cycle for bike repairs.

I brought my electric voltbike here and they did a phenomenal job. He managed to find all of the parts needed and had everything balanced when I picked it up. Felt like new.

This guy and his assistant have the worst customer service. The girl was rude when I dropped my bike off, they didn’t give a slip or anything to indicate I had left it there and when I called back the guy yelled at me, hung up on me twice, interrogated me about where I was from, told me I had to pick up the bike from his assistant since I “loved her so much” and pretty sure he gave me a stolen part. It was totally bewildering to say the least and I think he is insane. Don’t go there unless you like being yelled at and insulted.

The owner is hands down the greatest bike mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. My bike was serviced within 24 hours in mint condition, ready to ride. Highly recommend this incredible establishment.

Brought my bike in to change a tire, against the advice of a neighbor. As my friend suggested, I was immediately up-sold on other issues that were wrong with the bike. I was to pick up the bike the next day and, when I arrived, the owner was not onsite. Waited for an hour for owner to show because I was heading out of town and needed my bike. He forgot about my scheduled pick up. I had credit on me, which they do not accept, and owner said don't worry about it

I've spent my teenage years stripping bikes, rebuilding them, fixing them, anything and everything.Long story short: I know my stuff when it comes to bikes! My son's bike had a pedal mechanism issue and I just didn't have the tools nor time to fix it so I brought it to this guy to fix. My son's front tire was still new, but the back one was worn, of course, kids make skids and wear out the back tire as we all did. This was a Saturday and was told that it would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday, but when I hadn't heard from him the following Friday, I called and left a message. It wasn't until the following Saturday or even Monday that he called to say it was ready, and cost more than what I had been told. When I got home, I noticed that the front tire had been replaced for a worn out one which now matched the back one. The ONLY way that could happen is by deliberately switching the tire, which I know I had never done and my son knows NOTHING about bikes. Changing the pedal mechanism has NOTHING to do with needing to remove the tires, so I know it couldn't be an honest mistake of replacing the wrong tire, that's not what it was there for. This man is a crook, probably didn't think I would noticed, but when you're as detailed as I am, that's not something you miss! I'm assuming this has happened to others without them even noticing, but I did and I have no reason or purpose to write this for no reason. I wanted to return to him and confront him about it, but I've been so busy and now it's been two months or so, so it would defeat the purpose to go now. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone, unless you want your bike downgraded" so he can replenish his stock of tires or whatever else! THIS GUY IS A CROOK!"

I required a new front tire and inner tube for a mountain bike from the late 1980s. He was able to supply one and install it the same day. Lucky for me! I was able to go for a ride that afternoon. Will go again for service as required. You should too!

Brought my bike in to repair a broken chain. Service was good and was repaired quickly. Friendly technician who has been doing this for 40 years. Recommended, especially now that its a huge wait to get your bike fixed anywhere else because of COVID.

Recently took my custom built bikes here. Got the bike back working in excellent condition. Better then new. Thanks!EDIT: Recently came back for additional work and it seems every time Ron gets through with the bike it becomes smoother and faster. Thanks again Ron!EDIT: Been dealing with Ron for a few years now and have always been treated well. Service has been top notch.
