Lodge at Pine Cove

The Lodge is a perfect getaway. Secluded cabins in the forest, cotton candy skies and water all around you and great fishing!! (Big fish!). Alex and the staff at The Lodge are so warm and helpful. The breakfast and dinner hampers are amazing and rooms are spotless. We stayed in the Hopkins and couldn't have asked for a better 5 days. We are already planning for next time and staying longer! Amazing couple days at the Lodge. The cottages were spacious and super well equipped (coffee, tea, cooking utensils, wood fire stove, barbecue, and a bunch of stuff). The area is simply stunning and great to explore on the canoes or kayaks provided by the Lodge. The place is extremely calm, all the cottages being fairly well spaced out and tress all around, with the parking lot being out of the way which makes sure you can't hear a single motor from your cottage, just the tweeting of the birds and insects. Furthermore the restaurant in the Lodge was delicious and well priced for the amazing quality of food they serve, featuring local products and wines. I recommend going out at night on the lovely bridge or pier to gaze at the stars.Can't wait to come back next summer

My husband and I stayed last week at the HBC and it was an absolutely amazing cabin. The decor is perfect and the view is unbelievable! The weather was less than seasonal so the wood stove was brought into action and didn't disappoint. The breakfast hamper was a very nice touch as was the loose leaf teas! Alex and his entire staff were so very friendly and professional. I was so very impressed with how well they handled the COVID restrictions and how they adapted their services but still kept it easy and relaxing. Although this was our first visit, we have already booked 2 more visits for this year and have booked another for 2022. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a beautifully upscale rustic getaway.

A magical place that exceeded all expectations. Beautiful cottages well appointed and well kept. The food was excellent and you can tell the chef pays attention to detail. We truly enjoyed the breakfasts , lunches and dinners. Alex and the staff are warm and welcoming. This place is peaceful and ideal for getting away from the city. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Interesting spot.Pros:1) Great location, beautiful nature all around you2) Food was great, chef and front house staff were nice.Cons:1) At check-in I was told the owner doesn't like groups of men.2) The cabins don't have AC or WIFI. It was pretty unbearable to sleep in the heat.I had great interactions with the staff for the most part. I did not appreciate being told that the owner doesn't like groups of men or that we should close the windows if were playing music like we were a bunch of animals. It was 30+ degrees (windows open and fans on) so basically no music or prepare to be confronted.At checkout we were asked if we stayed out of trouble. We normally would have just taken that comment as a joke but given the previous notice to behave at check-in it was just another insult.We were also approached while standing out front the lodge to confirm if we were in fact staying at the lodge.This place attracts a certain customer type and thats fine but myself my brother and our mutual friend were immediately caught off guard and never really felt at home at the lodge.The room was 600 dollars a night. For this you should be able to relax without having to worry.

Wow. This was perfect. Every aspect of our stay was so lovely. I was so upset to leave and had to get dates for their next availability asap because I can’t stop thinking about it since leaving. Stunning landscape. Luxury cottage. Incredible food. Super charming experience.

We had the most amazing stay at the Pine Cove! Everything was over and beyond our expectation. The staff were extremely friendly and the owner Alex was incredibly generous to our family. The lodge was perfect with everything we needed. We cannot wait to stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful scenic break in the wilderness!

My partner and I stayed in the Gaboury Lagemodiere cabin back in June and were in absolute awe. The most beautiful, cozy cabin with a direct view of the sunset from its screened in porch. Alex and the head chef went above and beyond by working with my partner to help create a romantic and thoughtfully customized engagement plan to happen during our stay. Alex & his team provided nothing less than superb service and made our getaway absolutely magical. We are so in love with The Lodge at Pine Cove and cant wait to go back.

This is amazing place to have nice quiet relaxing vacation. I was there for kayaking on French river however when I entered cottage it was sparkling clean kitchen had everything that you need to cook and prepare meals including barbecue outside.You can canoe kayak (included) and they have water taxi that will take you to some nice places on the river. Staff is very nice and accommodating I had great pleasure dealing with everyone on the property. I didn't find anything there that I didn't like everything was perfect for me there. In the morning they bring you breakfast right to your door and there is restaurant that you can reserve if you want to eat in restaurantAmazing place I will definitely be back. I like this place comparing to others in the area because it is closest to river junction where you can kayak different directions.Way to go guys I am sure every guest will be happy with your attitude service cleanliness and everything else along the way
