Very disappointed with quality of work. Asked for a full balance and no material was taken off any rod, piston, or crank. Only marked the pressure plate to the flywheel. Ring gap that I paid for was much tighter than what Jim specd for me. Decking job was absolutely horrendous on my block. Not to meantion they don’t have tools to measure surface finish (ra) of a block. Jim basically sabotaged my engine and took my money...

Jim and Kyle at Richmond engines are stand up guys that care about their customers and stand behind their services, we bought a classic car from an older couple that had one of their motors, having some issues with it they helped us out with a lot of great insight along the way. It’s hard to find a great engine builder with such attention to detail and not over charging people.If you ever need to replace or rebuild an engine definitely the place to go.
