I had a total hip replacement done 18 months ago. I guess my muscles were butchered extensively by the surgeon. I spent 17 months on a cane in major pain. Spent thousands on physio therapy. I felt I may spend the rest of my life in pain.I finally went and saw Dr. Sarco. He figured out the problem immediately and within 2 weeks I was out of pain and I am getting better everyday. My quality of life is so much better now.Thank You so much Doc. Your awesome!Terry Oldham

Dr. Saco was great. He was friendly nice polite knowledgeable and took time took answer my questions. I got injections in both my feet. The pain was minimal and it was quick. It also work very well so far, my feet have not felt this pain free in 6 months. They do still hurt a little but I’m still resting them as it’s only been 1 day. After the procedure he recommended some pain relievers, said I probably wouldn’t need them but it may be good to have them just in case. I said sure and he was going to fax the prescription to my pharmacy. However he never did fax it??? I didn’t really need it so far, it would of help a bit yesterday but my feet are better than they were so it is a minor issue. I’m just confused. I never had a dr. Do this. This caused me 2 trips to my pharmacy as they are impossible to get on the phone sometimes, plus a few calls and time wasted on hold, and there time looking for the fax and dealing with me. It also caused me to call his office 3 times now wondering if he is sending the fax, so it wasted there time also. I got the same answer from his secretaries, that he is very busy and hasn’t done it yet, he’s usually sends faxes for prescriptions after lunch. But if he doesn’t get to it today it will be done tomorrow. I personally don’t believe that or can accept that as a answer, especially as its been 2 days now. Dr. Sarco showed me the time to answer my questions when I was there so I no he cares about me, he really could have wrote the prescription right then and there as we were talking if he was going to do it. I don’t understand is all, there is something that I’m missing here, why bring up a medicine to halp say your going to fax it and not do it? It just caused a big chain reaction of waisted time for me, the pharmacy and his office, all because he is busy and didn’t have the time yet. Seams counter intuitive.Don’t the take this review the wrong way, dr. Sarco is a very good dr. And cares about his patients. I didn’t even really need the medicine, it would have help but it’s redundant now. The situation just left me confused and frustrated and I can’t get a hold of his office to find out why or get a answer I trust. I want to give a 5 star to him how he helped me but I want to give the situation a 1 star.Regardless of the pointless situation thank you for you help, I really do appreciate what you did for me

I was in last week to get injections in both knees, I couldn't believe what a fantastic job he did. I had injections last yr at General hospital on my knees... I was expecting to be in the same pain when they did it, but to my surprise, no pain.. and my knees feel so much better... I cant believe I have some freedom back. Thank you so much, Dr Sarco.

**Update**2 days after my review of Dr.Sarco he reached out to me from his private number which he was persistent at getting in touch with me. From his perspective at first he felt he did no harm and that everything from his point of view was justified. After several mins of explaining our sides of hows the appointment went, Dr.Sarco apologized a few times and generally felt bad about how I felt over this review as well as over the phone conversation. As Dr.Sarco stated over the phone that time is limited and we try to do all we can with with what we have. Stress of the job can also have its toll as we both know this from being essential workers during covid times. We both are putting the previous situation behind us and are moving forward. He said that his office will book an appointment within 2 weeks and I will be glad to get more input about my injury.I've learned that even though the first appointment did not go as well as I had hoped, I should have spoken to Dr.Sarco while I was there about how I perceived the situation and what we could do better. Instead I wrote a review while frustrated and depressed that could tarnish a good Doctors reputation. For that I am Sorry. The reason for me leaving the original post is to show that even though I had a bad first experience with Dr.Sarco and it was the only time we ever spoke, he reached out to me to understand and correct the situation. Most people in general these days don't bother making the attempt to understand and correct situations, I was glad that Dr.Sarco made the attempt and I'm hoping that others that may have had a bad experience can learn from this situation. Thank you Dr.Sarco and I will be more optimistic for our next appointment.___________________________________________________**Original post**I waited months to see Dr.Sarco just for him to make me wait an extra 1hour 20mins and not even apologize for the inconvenience. After waiting that time, I was looked at for a total of 7mins to be told that just from his observation and some movement tests that I won't need shots and then I was hurried out of his office, as he was of course behind with other clients. Between being disappointed with WSIB and now Dr.Sarco, I feel like our medical system is failing us and if I could afford it I would pay to get professional help instead of being rushed and tossed aside. I put a lot of hope into Dr.Sarco and his advice before seeing him and now I'm just left more disappointed and depressed. I hope no one else gets treated the way I did and he actually helps you. I didn't want to believe the 1 star comments honestly but now I see from my own situation that there needs to be some improvements on his behalf. I wish others better luck then my situation.

*edit*I've had the rescheduled appointment, and it was prompt and on-time. Dr. Sarco seemed extremely knowledgable, and took the time to ask a lot of questions and also explain things concisely to me. Very positive impression from that, it's just a shame that the initial scheduling issues happened. I don't really believe in erasing an earlier review like nothing happened, but the experience this time was great. It seems like the mix-up was just a symptom of how busy and sought after he is, and he did apologize for it. I changed my review from 1-star to 4-stars as a result.*original review*I've never encountered an office that's so unreliable. Doctors are in high demand, and we're in a pandemic. I get it, and try my best to be patient with long delays and difficulties getting through to anyone, as they're providing a highly sought after service and I'm sure everyone is working hard. When my appointment was finally a few days away, I confirmed over the phone that everything was still good for that time/date.2 days prior, I get a call to reschedule the appointment to earlier in the day.I made myself available and took an unpaid hour off work for the appointment as it's a last minute change, and I couldn't move my schedule around it a second time.Appointment time. Wait an hour and a half. No call from the doctor, or reception explaining that he was running behind, if that's the case. Just, nothing. And of course they don't answer the phones on Wednesday. This is hugely unprofessional, and if it was reversed, I'd be expected to pay a fee for not showing up and not calling. So far I've waited months, and just wasted my time.Dr. Sarco might be great, but I won't ever find out with scheduling and accountability like this. Hopefully in the new year I have an experience I can be positive about.
