It should not take 45 minutes for the pharmacy to answer the phone. It should not take 5-10 minutes for someone to acknowledge you at the counter while picking up or dropping off your prescription. The lack of common people skill is unfathomable - look people in the eyes, articulate so that when we ask to repeat yourself you don’t have to be rude/annoyed.There is anywhere between 3-7 people behind the pharmacy counter and not one person jumps to hep you out.Definite lack of professionalism and people skill for sure.

Five days I've been waiting for my mental health pills in 5 days I keep calling shoppers drug Mart and they keep telling me they're going to deliver it and they don't show up. I'm now suicidal. Because multiple pharmacist can't do a simple job and this is not the first time this has happened in the past year, this is a constant issue with the staff at this location.

I dropped my prescriptions off and was told it would be delivered the same day or the following morning. It’s been TWO days and I still do not have my prescriptions! It took over 30 mins to finally get ahold of someone on the phone and when I asked the guy if he could check to see if my prescriptions were still at the pharmacy he transferred me to customer service! Don’t waste your time going to this pharmacy!

Went to fill my prescription, they misspelled my name and told me my coverage had expired. Had to pay for the prescription cash, since I needed it asap. When I had realized what had happened I called the pharmacy for them to update my record the guy on the phone was very rude and unhelpful even after I told him what had happened. Now have to go through more paperwork to get my money back for my prescription. Would never go back, the staff don't know how to do their job, causing more work and wasting my time. I'm in customer service and would never speak to my customers that way.

It is very important that people mostly rated this pharmacy with one star.I believe one star is even too much for this service.Pharmacy staffs are very slow and unprofessional! I am not talking about 1 or 2 hours delay. You may need to wait for days! If you go to another pharmacy, they might not transfer your data either. It happened to me that they even did not answer to the call of the other pharmacy for the data transfer, and basically ignored the request. I called them several times, told them that I cannot sleep without the medication, but they did not care. They did not transfer the data for more than 2 hours, and the other pharmacy closed!!!!It is highly important message. The patient says that I cannot sleep without this medication, and they did not care; they did not transfer the data until the other pharmacy closed! In response to me they told that they are the busiest pharmacy in Windsor. To me, data transfer should not take more than a few minutes; while 6-7 staffs are working. So far, I have spent two nights without the medication.**They do not care about you, your health, time, ...**Be careful, it might become a challenge for you to get your prescription back from them too. I highly recommend you to go to other pharmacies.Always you see long line-up, and when you get to the desk, they say your medication is not ready for pick-up. Again, go back to the end of the line! Many people leave the store without getting the medications, after so much time that they spend in the store and line-up.

For what was supposed to be 15 minute wait, it took over 4 hours and I am still waiting for a phone call to come get my prescription. I need my prescription today as I had an attack and still sitting here waiting. You’re better off filling your prescription with the crack heads on ouellette than you are with this pharmacy.

Never going to this Shoppers again. I went 2h after the doctor sent them the prescription, and they told me to come back in a few hours... So now I have to be in kidney pain for a few more hours, because they don't have staff or who knows why.... Never using Shoppers again. Private pharmacies are the best. 20min and it's all done

My husband picked up a high risk injectable medication, and received next to 0 patient education. This is both upsetting and concerning as its a high risk medication, which requires patient education for safety. He was told nothing about how to set up the dose, rotating site or proper disposal. So scary considering lack of patient education could result in serious health risks to the patient, along w not being offered a shaprs container or even mention of ensuring to disposal of the used needles into a sharps container. As this could result in the spread of other potential infections (for example a patient w hep c putting a needle in a garbage bag and poking someone could = spread). I can appreciate the focus on covid...but a total lack of concern for public safety related to bloodborn pathogens is just wrong for any clinican to overlook. When I contacted the pharmacy to discuss this concern, the pharmacist blamed my husband for not asking the right questions.... I would never expect a patient to ask me when a cardiac med should be held, that's my responsibility as the licensed clinican to inform the patient.. not wait to be asked. I'm sure the college of pharmacists will agree with my expectations surrounding patient education, especially considering this all relates to patient safety and the safety of our communities. I have since transferred our RXs to a family owned pharmacy and the improved experience blows shoppers out of the water. I hope this experience was actually taken seriously at this location, and discussed w the pharmacy team BEFORE a patient is hurt, or someone poked w a used needle because the patient didn't know what questions to ask"Do your job
