Came here at around 3pm on a weekend for an early dinner. We were sat in a booth so didn't really get to experience the atmosphere of the lounge. We ordered the Blueberry salad. It was delicious and it's so refreshing to have a different salad option than other restaurants. We also ordered the fish and chips. I had high hopes for the fish which were dashed- the fish was dry and not in one piece. It seemed like the fish was mixed and then battered. The fries were good. The main detracting of this restaurant is that it is Halifax street food so I expected that the atmosphere would be more lively and the waiter more engaging. For anyone who hasn't been to the East coast perhaps this isn't a draw but the hospitality just wasn't there.

Deceivingly DeliciousI was a bit nervous about ordering the pizza here as it did not look the like the most appealing. However, after my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pizza. This was an interesting pizza with a very crisp crunch, but yet a lot of substance and a fluffy dough on top of the crisp. It was cooked to perfection with many delicious toppings. As a Maritimer myself, Browers & Grafton gave me the feeling of being back home. Very nice dining room and experience.

I will start by saying that I am from the East coast and had been dying to check this place out since the various locations started popping up. I think I had overly high expectations from seeing pictures and reviews. To start we ordered the donair nachos and really should have gone with extra meat, as we could barely taste the seasonings of the meat at all. The deep-fried Brothers pepperoni was probably the most authentic tasting item we shared. For the main course, I ordered the mini lobster rolls and upgraded to the chowder for the side. Lobster is my absolute favourite food, and it looked so good. The buns were a definite down-home traditional bun, but the amount of actually lobster was so disappointing. The little strip of lobster you can see on top of the buns is it. The rest of the bun was stuffed full of coleslaw....good coleslaw but not when you're expecting lobster. And as far as the chowder goes, it was definitely not loaded with seafood....few pieces of fish and a couple of bay scallops was about all I could distinguish.A friend ordered the scallops and although she said they tasted fine"

I didn't prefer the donair pizza, there was some kind of sweet sauce, tasted like condensed milk. The taco was alright but too much sauce. The fried pepperoni was my favourite.Cocktails I had were the raspberry Mojito and lime mojito. The limes and mint were not fresh, very unfortunate.

I came here for dinner after learning that they opened a location in Windermere. The restaurant’s decor and atmosphere were nice. In terms of food, I tried their Fish Tacos, Mussel Bucket (with white wine butter sauce), (Ultimate) Atlantic Seafood Chowder (bowl), Donair Pizza, and Fish & Chips. The taco had a decent piece of good haddock with a nice amount of fresh slaw. It’s quite good and worth trying during their happy hour. The mussels were good with the wine sauce. The chowder had an assortment of seafood like mussels, clams, and shrimp - It stood out the most but also felt overpriced given the amount of food. The donair pizza was also quite good and worth trying during happy hour. The Fish & Chips was decent.

My favorite is always their lobster rolls Fish and Chips is really good too. Crispy on the outside and the fillet is moist , not overcooked. I also ordered the chowder filled with lobster meat. Our server was attentive and friendly.I love the Windermere location over Whyte Avenue.

The cheesesteak sandwich was decent, I quite liked the choice of bread. The chowder was also not bad. The fish and chips batter was too thick, so the inner part of the batter was a little soggy. The fish itself was fine though. No complaints with the service.

I really wanted to love this place. Perhaps it was an off night as the reviews are very good - I just really didn’t enjoy any of the food and the prices were astronomical.Appetizers: half order of fried pepperoni. The pepperoni itself had a good flavour albeit a little dry, but they salted it after it was fried. It became way too salty. The sauce was good, as was the price/portion size.Artichoke lobster dip was $18 and very small. The flavour was good, I’m mostly annoyed at the portion size/price.Entree: the shrimp po’boy was difficult to eat. A sandwich that size needs a plate, not a tiny basket sitting on top of the fries. The sauce had an off taste to it, and the shrimp batter was very strong - overpowering the shrimp. The bun was very hard on the outside and fluffy on the side with a decent flavour.Scallops and chowder - $27 for this small plate of food. The scallops were very small and a let down. The chowder was ok, nothing memorable though. The mound of seafood on top was a nice touch thoughService: service was a 3.5/5 - our waitress was nice, though forgot utensils. The host was fine, but didn’t really have any life/energy and it almost seemed like we were a little bit of an inconvenience.Overall, It might have been an off day and the issues weren’t so bad that I wouldn’t give them another chance and change my review accordingly.

My wife and I chose this place for our anniversary. It took about 35 minutes to be seated. We waited in the cramped entryway, and no refreshments were provided. Finally, we got our booth. We think they were understaffed, which is a common problem for restaurants nowadays.Once we were in"

Came here for dinner - was absolutely delicious! The Dave’s hot chicken nachos were our absolute favourite!!! So good we would come back just for them. Definitely get the full order, the selfie will leave you wanting more! We also had poutines (gravy was amazing) and the Shrimp Po’ Boy. Excited to come back & try more of the menu!
