Hailey is my favourite hairdresser I've met in Toronto by far! She gave me a beautiful cut efficiently when I was in a bit of a rush and was an absolute joy to chat with. I'll definitely book with her again :-)

Alex has been my stylist for a little over 15 years, for the very reason that he’s exquisitely talented - and I’m SUPER picky about what I like, and know immediately what works and what doesn’t on me.I know the price point seems like it’s high, but for his mastery - knowledge of haircut shapes, how it’s likely to look when it grows in a bit, etc. - it’s the difference between paying for someone who you can really trust to give you the look you want, versus someone who just gives you a basic cut. Specifically: I’ve been rocking a bowl cut for years, and Alex always finds a way to make it feel fresh and interesting, by making the slightest adjustments. I admit I briefly forayed elsewhere to get a cheaper haircut - thinking, “how difficult can a bowl cut be?” - and it was a huge mistake… not everyone has the experience and nuanced technical knowledge to make a cut look beautiful, to make a cut continue to be beautiful even as it grows in. Alex knows how to make an edgy haircut last and grow in nicely, versus those “cool cuts” that look awful one week later.I’ve had rainbow coloured hair done by Alex in the past, and more neutral tones done as well. He’s very up to date on what’s in - he knows what’s current, while having the versatility to work with you even if you lean more towards what might be considered more classic styles.It is no exaggeration that Alex has played a big role in helping me to shape my hair identity, and my overall look.Pay for his experience and attention to detail, you won’t regret it. My mom went to him for almost 15 years as well, and only stopped because her hairstyle eventually only required an easy trim. My friends who have gone to him have also only been super happy with the results.And remember that his rate plus tax is gratuity-free! So that always feels nice, you know what you’re paying every single time.But really, I can’t emphasize how much of a stand-out he is in terms of his skill, across hairstyles, types, and hair colours. The staff at the Cabinet Salon are amazing and the salon is comfortable, calm, and inviting. Emma has been cutting my hair for several years now and I’m always so happy with the result! I’ve seen Anya for colour and Lili for my cuts and let me tell you - they know how to treat a gal. I have incredibly thick hair which is amazing but can also be difficult to work with. Both Lili and Anya listened to what I was after and bounced different ideas off me until we found a good direction. They both took the time to walk me through how they were styling my hair so I could recreate it myself and give me little tips and tricks that have been a game changer. My colour and cut are both amazing and I can’t even begin to tell you how many people ask me where I get it done.Also can’t say enough about the transparent pricing The Cabinet offers. 10/10 would recommend.

Loved my experience at The Cabinet! I got a 1h haircut with Hailey and she did a wonderful job. They are professional and have great customer service. Appropriately priced for the quality of the work, and the pricing by hour system leaves you with no surprises at checkout. Will come again!

Wow I love this place. Paris did an amazing job with my hair. She also gave me advice around color when I asked.I also really like the pricing model. It is by the hour and no tip. So you don’t have to calculate anything or stress at the end of your service.Great spot, would recommend!

Francine is THE BEST stylist! I have been going to her for years... She knows how to blend those grey hairs like nobody's business, she has a gift with coloring - especially super thick/long hair. Her blow dry's are legendary :)

I have had highlights for many years but nobody makes my hair look as good as Britney ,so I had to follow her when she moved to The Cabinet Salon. Amazing professional and lovely person. The salon is beautiful and everybody is welcoming.

I went for the second time to the Cabinet, and loved it more. Anya made a fantastic job with my hair. She listened to me and offered some accurate suggestions. She corrected all the yellowish tones I had and gave some nice touch of light. The result was very natural and beautiful. The place is beautiful and cherry on the cake, Anya is super friendly. I had an amazing 4hours with her :)

Francine is remarkable, I would follow her to the moon if I had to. I'm happy she landed at The Cabinet Salon, the vibe is wonderful and they are huge ambassadors of the environment which I love. Fran pays attention to every detail with precision and is so innately able to discern and create what I have in mind. Endlessly grateful for you Fran!!
