Revera Briargate

I noticed you have replied to my review from almost a year ago. Its nice you investigated yourselves. Did you find anything wrong? I have my doubts. I have no interest in talking to anyone there or anywhere else. I spoke with some clown in Ottawa, he was useless. I just want people to be warned, your all smiley faces when your trying to reel people in. If you care for your parents dont put them in this place.

Providing care for others is arguably the most noble of all professions. The Briargate experience honours this principle in exemplary fashion. The senior management team combines intelligence, experience and professionalism with genuine compassion and hands on caring for the residents. The critically important front line staff and nursing staff are wonderful. My family moved my mother into Briargate 14 months ago in what was a very difficult time in our lives. But that difficulty has been greatly mitigated by our confidence that my mother is receiving regular attention and a high level of care. Briargate has deftly managed the covid crisis through sound policy and excellent judgement. I trust Briargate.

My mother-in law has been a resident at Briargate for just over a year. She has presented physical and behavioural challenges that have been managed in a caring and professional manner by all staff. The Manager and Wellness coordinator are approachable and responsive to all our concerns. My wife and I have peace of mind and total confidence that she is receiving excellent care. Our Mom raves about the food and service in the dining area and feels cared for and supported by the Nursing staff. We are always impressed with the Social activities and cleanliness of the facility. Our wish is Mom will be able to live out her life at Briargate.

My dad moved to Briargate 2 1/2 years ago. From the time we toured the facility there was no doubt we knew dad would feel at home. Can't say enough about all the staff, friendly and always helpful. The nursing staff have been terrific, always helping any way they can. Great meals. Prior to the pandemic, a wide range of activities/entertainment/events/outings were available. With the pandemic restrictions, wonderful care and all efforts made by the recreation team and staff to keep the residents active and entertained including visiting residents when family couldn't as well as keeping them safe. Very happy with our decision.

I moved my Mother to Briargate, Memory Care Section after carefully reviewing other available options. All the staff were very kind and most competent. She is very well cared for and for that I am most grateful. I am very impressed with Briargate.

I can’t rave enough about the staff at Briargate! My Dad & Mom have been there 8 months already and they absolutely love it! From the wonderfully prepared meals, engaging and fun activities, the attention to wellness to keeping the family up to date, the entire staff go above and beyond! I can’t thank them enough for ensuring my parents are living life to the fullest!
