I came in and all the staff were kind and helpful! The whole process was explained really well, they gave me free snacks and juice before. The nurses checked up on me lots too. The needle was close to my tendon though, and squeezing may have been moving it so they needed to re-adjust it. I got nervous, and asked if we could finish out the cycle and i would stop. The nurse stayed with me through the cycle and let me know how it was working. Once it was almost done, i said i wanted to finish my donation because I didn’t realize how easy it was once the needle got adjusted! My fiancé came with me and donated too. His machine stopped running for some reason, and they noticed the needle was in one of his deeper veins, even though there was one that would have been fine. He heard them discussing how it should have been the other vein. The needle left his vein, and they would have needed to inject the needle into his other arm. He said he didn’t want to have the needle redone, and asked to stop. His experience is a nit nerve wracking to me. I still want to donate, and I likely will with some of my coworkers. My arm is still kind of sore, so i’m just waiting it out. The staff there helped me lots! Just some may be newer than others. Not trying to scare away future donors, just sharing how experience varies. We also went in on what was technically a stat holiday, so thank you to all the nurses working regardless! Life savers! Still trying to figure out the referral bonus…

I have been donating for a couple years now, mostly a positive experience, but on Wednesday I walked out having not being checked in within 15 minutes. I heard lots of socializing by staff, it wasn't busy as the parking lot was half empty. I called and left a message with the office manager, but did not get a call back. I would like to know of someone higher up to address this issue.

Very clean and staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would just like to see nurses take their time when finding a vein, and talk louder. I feel awful for having to make everyone repeat themselves so many times because I can’t hear them, especially behind masks.

Good people. Young staff.way too much paperwork (not the businesses fault). Feel good way to make a few bucks.

Giving plasma helps those with immune deficiencies, blood disorders, cancers, and more! You can go twice per 7-day cycle, it's usually pretty quick (1.5-2 hours), and you can make $95/week tax free. My partner and I saved up our plasma donation money for a few months last year and went to Cuba! Next up, we're putting money away for a summer trip, and then our wedding. Totally worth your time, and you're helping others. Win-win!

Staff are excellent but it's taking way too long to get into the donation Hall lately, like at least an hour. They need to hire more staff or make fewer appointments.

Yesterday was my first time donating plasma and I can ultimately say that it was fairly good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the only downside I would say is that the needle was inserted incorrectly and was causing me a lot of pain. It took them a couple tries to insert the needle correctly, which make me more nervous because it was my first time and I was already nervous. Once, the needle was inserted properly than the rest was easy. Just hoping that next time the needle is inserted correctly the first time rather than having to get it adjusted multiple times throughout my appointment.Skylar

The staff is super friendly. Had to wait a few times longer than usual but usually quick to donate. Donation hall is clean and I enjoy the heating pads.

They're now allowing way more people into the waiting room so the time to donate has almost doubled. It used to be 15 minutes of waiting, now it's over an hour and it's not a pleasant experience at all. You might as well just get a part time job, the time commitment is about the same and you make more money.
