Kildare Nail Salon

I had been to this location on two other occasions. Because it had been in the busy month of June, with grads happening, I thought maybe the quality of service and customer service was due to that. This third visit was no improvement. Despite having an appointment, my nails were done by 3 different people and I sat for long periods of time waiting for the service to continue while other customers came in and their services were started.My manicure is sloppily done. No two nails look the same (french), are not filed the same shape and the nails were roughed up so much, you can see/feel the ridges through the polish.Unfortunately, will not return. Keeping an appointment time and not rushing through a service to take on other customers needs to change.

Decent nail salon & friendly staff. Seems they're very limited on taking walk-ins, Friday & Saturday at least, & are closed on Sundays. The hot stone massage on your calves & feet was a nice touch. Worth checking out if you're in the area.Thanks for the reply! Totally fair point on coming in on a busy day.

just got my nails done here like 10 min ago and they came out exactly how i wanted it, perfectly shaped by the man, he did it the best i’ve ever had done. when i come back id love to get them done again by him, definitely recommend, the red haired lady who did my nails was also good!

They overbook and don’t stick to appointments. My group of four with an appointment weren’t worked on for over 45 minutes, two of us ended up leaving before getting anything done after an hour. We were completely ignored until we were being worked on. The two that did get worked on had gift certificates and they did a rush job, because by that time they were closed (we asked to come for 5pm, Kildare nails said 6pm was better and they made us wait for an hour). For the inconvenience they were offered a $5 discount for next time. We’ve been coming here for years and we’ve been made to wait before and we were always understanding and trying to support a transcona business but this was over the line. None of us will be back. The salon is in rough shape too, the massage chairs are peeling badly and that doesn’t give off a clean or relaxing vibe. We found a new salon just outside transcona and won’t be recommending Kildare nails to anyone.

This is my go to nail salon! They are the best, Kim and her husband always make me feel like their favourite customer. It’s so easy to book an appointment through their Facebook page. Even on the day of I can get in. My mother in law and I go every three weeks and they always ask about my life. My nails are always perfect, and the salon is always super clean.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Kildare Nails, I go there about every 4 weeks. They are always very accommodating, it’s clean and they have been nothing but professional every time I have been there. I highly recommend this salon.

This was my first time coming, and I wasn't impressed.. so to start I got a pedicure, there was no bubbles, and nothing but just water.. normally there's some blue stuff that softens your feet, or some type of soap product. After the pedi, I got a manicure which... Honestly, I shouldn't of had to pay for. The water was cold, again no soap or anything in the water, never used cuticle softener, never used the cuticle pusher tool which I asked to have my cuticles cleaned up, didn't clean under the nails and on top of it, they have a package that's $45 and yet they charged $50? For what? I never got a design, got a clear coat for my manicure, and never used shellac. The nail tech didn't seem like she really wanted to be there, and a lot of times it hurt while she was working on both my feet and hands. The only good part about this place was the company I came in with. It's astonishing this place has such high reviews, although looking at the other nails techs, they seem to have cared a little more with their job, so I hope the other girls had a pleasant time.

I went for doing a spa pedicure and manicure.The staff who did my pedicure was rough and she didn't do anything at all..Just cut my toe nails and file it. She was not ready to hear me too. She is concentrating to accommodate more people rather than giving a pleasurable experience for the client they already had.Very poor experience..
