As an individual who values fairness, transparency, and ethical conduct, I feel compelled to share my recent experience.While I recognize the importance of providing an objective assessment, it is crucial to express my concerns without crossing the line into defamation.During my visit to the store, I encountered a series of incidents that left me disheartened and disappointed. From the moment I stepped in, I felt an air of unease as I was questioned and monitored by a volunteer. This intrusion into my shopping experience created a sense of discomfort and unwelcome scrutiny.The most disconcerting aspect was the discovery of attempts to overcharge me for a specific item and the subsequent alteration of prices without my consent. Such actions not only violate ethical business practices but also raise questions regarding compliance with the Competition Act, which prohibits the sale of products at prices higher than their advertised rates.Moreover, I was taken aback by a remark made by the store manager during a conversation. The comment appeared to insinuate that I may be engaging in reselling activities, a baseless assumption that I promptly clarified by stating my intention to donate the items. This exchange left a sour taste in my mouth and further intensified the feeling of mistreatment and discrimination.Throughout our interaction, the manager failed to acknowledge the abnormality, unprofessionalism, and ethical lapses that occurred, exacerbating the sense of dissatisfaction. Additionally, the behavior of a volunteer escalated to the point of near physical confrontation, accompanied by offensive language. Such conduct is far from acceptable in any customer service setting.I firmly deny any allegations of rudeness on my part, as they lack substantiating evidence and appear to be rooted in racial profiling and discrimination. The differential treatment I experienced compared to another customer of a different racial background raises concerns about equality and fair treatment within the establishment.It is my sincere hope that these matters will be addressed promptly and appropriately by the store management. I believe in the importance of rectifying the situation and ensuring that all customers are treated with respect, regardless of their race or background. By fostering an environment of fairness, transparency, and inclusivity, the store can regain the trust of its patrons.In conclusion, while my intention is not to defame or harm the store's reputation, I feel it is my duty to share my concerns regarding the incidents I encountered. I urge the store management to conduct a thorough investigation into these matters and take the necessary steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future.Please note that this review is based on my personal experience and should be viewed as constructive feedback aimed at fostering improvement within the establishment.
