Princess Perfect Upholstery

I’ve been working with Lisa Jo for over 20 years now and I’ve never been dissatisfied. Her taste is magnificent, the samples are abundant, the quality is spot on and the staff are lovely. My most recent job was 14 cushions, they looked great but one had a small stitching error right at the zipper, it was repaired in 5 mins no questions asked. I mention this as it was the first error in over too many projects to even remember. (20 years of projects!)

I came to princess perfect with a few pieces and feeling a little overwhelmed, but after a few emails and a visit to the shop, I knew exactly what I wanted and that my furniture was in good hands.Everyone at the shop was friendly and professional. I was confident that the finished product would be exactly what I wanted and they were!They picked up the chairs quickly and the within eight days, they were ready.Everyone is thrilled with them. Lisa Jo and Emma were helpful, responsive and patient when my first pick of fabric turned out to be discontinued, and helping with colour matching the fabric for the piping once I made up my mind with the main fabric. Excellent work with the pattern placement, and I'm super happy with the final result!

Lisa Jo and her team are honestly the best upholsters I know. I've tried another company and was disappointed. I love old pieces with a story and character and so for me, I only want the best working on them. Aside from being amazing at upholstering, Lisa Jo has fantastic taste and has helped me SO much with both picking the right look/fabric for pieces AND has even helped me tremendously with where to get fabric. They've even helped me figure out how to upholster some simple dining chairs on my own! On top of that, I had a chair done by them 3 years ago and they used a side of the fabric that wasn't what we wanted (which side we wanted was not discussed) and she turned the fabric around for us at no extra charge! And the chairs looked AMAZING! Basically, if you want QUALITY work, they are the best! If you're looking to reupholster because you were going to 'save' money, you obviously haven't done your homework, nor do you understand the costs of labour etc. You need to own a business to appreciate and truly know about the costs involved. So if you're hoping to save money, DO NOT reupholster!! Yes, it is cheaper to buy new 'cheap' furniture. But it'll likely cost you just as much to buy a well-made, high quality piece of furniture. So again, if you're looking for quality, amazing service, helpfulness and someone with fantastic taste, in my opinion, they are the best in town! It's a shame reading some of these other negative reviews, because I didn't have that experience at all and quite the opposite actually!

Princess Perfect did a wonderful job with our chair seats. The service was excellent and very personable and we couldn't be happier with the work they did. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for the services they provide.

Lisa Jo did a fabulous re-upholstery job with our two living room chairs! While not inexpensive - the workmanship is excellent - I’m very happy with the outcome! They look and feel amazing! She offered great practical redesign suggestions (to not re-attach back cushions) and choice of desired seat cushion firmness. Emma was very helpful in assisting with multiple fabric recommendations. I absolutely love the beautiful soft, silky performance velvet with built in Fabric guard! Practical and lovely!

Lisa Jo, Karyn and their crew did an amazing job on my antique dining room chairs. Lisa Jo helped me pick out beautiful fabric for the chairs and the workmanship is outstanding. I actually had tears in my eyes when I picked up my chairs, they looked so wonderful. My grandmother's Victorian settee was in bad shape- the frame of the back was cracked, springs tired, and upholstery worn out. With limited space, did it even make sense to keep it? Lisa Jo and team completely rejuvenated it, frame repaired, springs and padding improved, and of course wonderful tufted new upholstery. We enjoy using it daily, it is newly comfortable and looks fabulous. Not cheap, but great work, and turned around very quickly once our turn came up.

I brought an old (1930s, I believe) bucket chair with very complicated tufting to Princess Perfect for recovering. My chair turned out better than I ever could have hoped for. It is absolutely beautiful and makes me happy every day.Everything about my experience with Princess Perfect was amazing and smooth. I emailed Lisa Jo a picture of the chair and she was able to give me a quote via email (the final price came in under the quote). When I went to the store to pick a fabric, I found that she had every swatch under the sun available to choose from. She quickly grasped my vision for the chair and narrowed in on the right swatch books to help me realize it. Everyone I interacted with at Princess Perfect was lovely, positive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They also picked up and delivered the chair for me, a huge bonus.A few months later, my parents brought Lisa Jo a chair that had belonged to my great grandmother and asked her to redo it to match (it was my birthday present). I'm sure Lisa Jo has a lot of clients so I thought it was remarkable that she was able to remember me and my fabric to help my parents! That chair also turned out wonderfully and my parents commented on the great experience they had.I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa Jo and the team at Princess Perfect. In fact, I highly recommend it.
