I used to buy my groceries from there for a while, but for last year or so, the store has gone down --I have purchased frozen items from there and you can easily see that frozen items thawed and they froze it again --I have found bugs in their Desi Price Club" packaged daalsThe worst is the guy standing behind the cashier -- I think he is the owner -- he is always stiff lipped to the point of being rude -- the guy never cracks a smile

Good variety of Indian Grocery.Staff are welcoming and knowledgable - try every bit to help you find the right product.1 less star, because the aisles are tight and feel congested (especially in these covid times).

It is the best desi grocery in Ottawa.I found everything I needed after 6 months of hunting. I came from Toronto and didn't find any store for desi grocery which was comparable to Iqbals in Toronto. But this store is Iqbal of Ottawa for sure. All problems solved. From halal meat to biscuits to masala and sweets they have everything under one roof. Definitely our regular grocery store from now on!!!

Used to be a good place. They stopped carrying lot of products which they used to and is not clean. There are better South Asian grocery stores.

It's very over packed with merchandise. It too small a space but it could be more organized & clean. In 2020 there is no excuse for a Desi grocery store to be at such a mediocre level of presentation. The selection isn't too bad, but the store being smaller means less variety. The staff could also be nicer.

All the desi grocery items readily available all the time. Buy fresh meat every week. They changed the front layout and open 7 days a week.

I discorved this very good store by chance, and purchased the hair oil. I loved his services and very kindness.

Huge selection of Indian/Pakistanian foodstuffs and spices for very reasonable prices... Can be a bit overwhelming trying to find what you want but they usually have it!

Best in town, when I cant find some complex this place never disappoints, the owner is a very nice and humble guy, whos always willing to help you out finding stuff and even special orders.

I used to shop there and will never go back again. I used to collect points in hope to use it at a certain point in time. I was away so could not go to the shop for a while. When I went yesterday and tried to use my points I was told that they have changed their system and the old way of giving phone number does not work anymore. Here is the full conversation:Q. So where are my points?A. In the system but we cant see the total because you have to sign up for the new account.my response: Ok so sign me up.A. It is going to cost you $1...Resp.: FineQ. Ok now you have my card what is my balance?A. Dont know the system does not allow us to see the balance???REALLY.... so how am I supposed to know what I have and you just told me if I sign up I can use my points.A. We have to ask the owner to give you your balance. It will take time.Resp: What are you talking about. OK FINE call me with my balance.Got a call here is what I was told:We can only tell you the balance ONCE a Year...So now I dont know what my balance is and I cant use it b/c I dont have it...SCAM TOTAL SCAM... I told him that you changed your system without any notification and you are now stealing my money. Needless to say he was totally indifferent. I guess their business does not care about customer service.I told him I will not be returning again.IMO. These types of scammer stores are relics of the past and stores like Silk Road will eventually take over. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS STORE AGAIN !!!
