Fabulous car buying experience! We definitely recommend Island Honda in Courtenay and sales person Esther De Best. Esther provided an amazing experience for the purchase of our car! From the moment we walked in the door the service was friendly, helpful, and with no pressure from sales to financing. The teaching provided for the actual operation of the car's systems was incredibly helpful and Esther was very patient even offering a return visit for more help if needed.

I decided I wanted to buy a used Mazda Miata and Island Honda had the perfect car for me. Jamie-Lyn was very helpful and we completed the deal quickly. She has also continued to offer support and answer questions now that I own the vehicle. The only reasons I rated the dealership a 4 instead of 5 (I need 4 1/2!) were two minor things. One was that when I picked up the car it had barely a 1/4 tank of gas in it and nobody told me where the gas cap opener was (if you've never owned a Miata, you'd never find it!!). I know the car was used but other dealerships in town sell used cars with a full tank of gas.

We ultimately decided to trade up and Gary worked with us to find a great car within our budget. Tal was fast, efficient and thorough.

Island Honda gave to me a good bargain and trade in value for my vehicle. Moreover, they found a crack on the windshield just before delivery which I didn't notice, but they were honest about it and without hesitation was willing to fix it for me. Had a great day at Island Honda last year while I was there and they helped me with my first car purchase. Scott was great and gave me a decent price on a car to replace my old Sunfire. All the paperwork and loan stuff was very well explained and organized. Zero issues with the car. I drove past 3 other Honda dealers to get here and it was worth the trip up Island as they had the only Civic in the colour I wanted.
