Sidecar Music (Toronto Jazz Band)

After searching for a jazz group to play at our wedding, we happened to stumble upon Sidecar's page. We loved their style and were able to meet them over coffee. We didn't have a strong vision of what we wanted, we just knew we loved their style, and they were incredibly accommodating. They were able to play several requested songs we gave them ahead of time as well as deal with many of our last minute change of plans. They even saved the day with some clutch masking tape for decorations! They were absolutely gracious through the entire thing - and were a great hit with everyone at our wedding. I would recommend Bennett and Paul anytime and look forward to either booking them for another occasion or even just catching them at a local club.

Sidecar Music was the perfect addition to our dinner reception. We wanted to create the perfect dinner party atmosphere and we couldn’t have asked for a better jazz band. They were all so talented and all the guests commented on how they played. Paul and Bennett made the entire planning process easy, even from long distance as we live in the UK. Sidecar played at our wedding. They were very easy to work with from the beginning. They provided us with some music inspirations for our most important date. Everything went smoothly on the date of. My husband and I booked Sidecar for our wedding at Kurtz Orchards in NIagara-on-the-Lake this past August and they were outstanding. They elevated the ambiance and created a wonderful soundtrack for our dream of a day. They were able to play a modern tune for our walk back down the aisle, as husband and wife, that sounded great and made the whole ceremony more personal. They played for guest arrivals, pre-ceremony, post ceremony and at our dinner in the orchard. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you guys for sharing your gorgeous sound with us!

Sidecar is an excellent band! They are talented, easy to work with, and they know how to entertain a crowd! We asked for live classical during cocktail hour, then dinner music in our dining hall, then live jazz to start the dance floor (first dance, Bride/Father, Groom/Mother ), and lastly DJ for some fun dance music later in the night and Bennett arranged everything perfectly! Bennett & Paul are wonderful, honest, trustworthy, and an absolute joy to work with!

We hired Sidecar for our wedding and we were blown away at how amazing they were! We were looking for a classy way to entertain our 200 guests during our cocktail hour, and came across Sidecar. They seemed to be perfectly in line with our style so we went ahead and booked them for our May 2020 wedding. When the pandemic hit in March 2020, we had to cancel the big wedding, but in August 2020, we decided to proceed with a small, 24 person microwedding in Sept 2020. We spoke with Sidecar and they agreed to work with us to accommodate a smaller gig. They played as I walked down the aisle and throughout the lunch reception. Not only are they very talented, they are also just really nice guys, and great with rolling with changes... they were able to read cues and wrap songs up whenever someone unexpectedly stood to make a toast, and play during the rest of the meal to fill the silence and give our entire event a super CLASSY vibe. Highly recommend these guys!

We had sidecar perform as a Jazz Trio for our wedding ceremony and dinner and they were INCREDIBLE. They kept our guests engaged all day with their wonderful talent. Thank you for again for playing a role in making our wedding unforgettable.

I could not be happier that I chose sidecar for our wedding. These are the sweetest guys, so incredibly easy to coordinate with and extremely gifted musicians. Their repertoire is unreal and they picked up two new songs for us on request. Our schedule ended up getting out of wack and logistics were confusing at the venue, and in spite of this they were incredibly kind and accommodating. Thank you for making our day so so special!!!!

We were lucky enough to book Sidecar for our wedding in October. They played throughout cocktail hour and dinner. Their music elevated the evening to a new level of elegance and class. We were so thrilled. It was such an added detail to have live music to cue speeches throughout dinner. They were also kind enough to take a few of our requests ahead of time and include them in the evening. Every guest commented on what a beautiful addition to the evening it was.
