Safeway Fort Saskatchewan

I love Safeway. They have kept their aisles pretty much the same since I was a child, so decades, which I appreciate! Their products are great, produce is fresh, meat is good and I can still live with their prices for the most part, I can get a Starbuck's coffee on my way out, and I get $ off gas for what I spend. But I truly love that they haven't changed the aisles!

Came here to buy a turkey for a grad party, and everyone here was friendly even the cashier. She made my day with how friendly she was.

Huge, bright, and clean supermarket. They have a good selection of items in each category. They also have a deli, fresh flowers, and a Starbucks inside. Prices are just a bit more compared to Walmart, but you can get good discounts with a Safeway card. They also have free WiFi for shoppers. There’s ample parking in front.

Always a great selection and great prices... excellent staff as well!

I can't say enough about the person at the Deli counter who went above and beyond to make me up a spinach dip and bun package when there were none left. She was so helpful and friendly... which you don't see much anymore.

Inviting, clean, attractive store. Extra friendly staff attentive who are ready to serve in meat and deli sections. Variety of marinated fish and beef for purchase. Great variety of grocery and fresh produce. I greatly enjoy shopping here. Check out staff are helpful and pleasant.

My wife and I celebrated an anniversary this June. I thought while I was in the safeway store in the Fort I might as well pick up a nice bouquet for my wife. Rebecca was handling an other customers order and without eavesdropping I noticed they had a wonderful conversation. She new this repeat customer and was very happy to recommend and out a bouquet together for him. Then it was my turn. I told Rebecca the occasion and I wanted red roses. I told Rebecca I had several different cases at home. She recommended the one she uses for roses. I had one at home so I said could you please make this bouquet vase ready so when I get home all I had to do was add water to the vase. She did an amazing job adding baby’s breath and other greenery that made the bouquet perfect. An amazing florist who has a wonderful personality and an attitude to match. Oh and my wife loved the flowers

Friendly staff. Typical grocery store. Buy produce from hard working farmers for next to nothing and sell at ridiculous prices.
