Awsome service, quick every year! Been going for a few years now and while they don't cut you a cheque right there, it usually comes in within a week and is always accurate!

Screwed up my taxes by inadvertently issuing slips they were not supposed to. Incompetence. Did not take accountability nor do they even realize the effort and consequences for the customer who then has to make hours of phone calls to Protax and CRA to resolve issue and still waiting to review and fix issue while $000s of being withheld for longer than necessary and moreso, my personal effort and angst and frustrations in getting it resolved. Highly NOT recommended!

Gets Expensive (hidden charges added) than other places. Charges 65$ to file tax for an individual account esp if you claim work from home benefits or staycation. I was told charges are 45$ unless it's a business account which wasn't the case. So fees they charge is not transparent.Edit 1: Replying to the comment below:I don’t have any issues with the tax service and the tax representative was really helpful(5 stars to him). The pricing that you explained below is exactly I should have been told when I asked the lady! I wouldn’t mind paying 100$ if I’m told upfront that the charges are 100$. But hidden charges really gets on my nerves esp when I asked the lady at the desk twice if there are any additional charges for individual(explained what I’m looking for), she told me a no and mentioned if you run a business etc. then it is.

We have been loyal to Protax for many years. A welcoming office with fair prices and efficient filing.

I can’t remember how long I’ve been coming here to Protax Hamilton, my guess would be at LEAST ten years. I’ve always dealt with Nick, and have had the pleasure of dealing with a few other employees here a few times now, and I absolutely love every single staff member here. Protax, Nick and the other staff are incredibly friendly and make filing my taxes easy. They are straight forward, explain everything clearly, and go above and beyond to help with my unique needs come tax season. I will never go anywhere else. I am so thankful my friend suggested your company to me, and have been telling all of my friends and family to go here ever since my first visit.It was a pleasure to see you last weekend when I was here, as always, and I’ll see you all next year.Thank you !
