Pro-Music Markham

My 6 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons at Pro Music for about 3 months now. No problems whatsoever! Her teacher is strict, demanding and applies discipline but not to an extent where she's pushy or evil so I feel that it's a professional place to learn. Overall staff are courteous and helpful and seems to know their stuff. Not sure why so many people say they are a factory" and are "money oriented" but the point of a business is to generate income while sustaining professionalism and that is what is being practiced. I am a Royal Conservatory Grade 10 graduate so I've had my years in piano training

Good variety for instruments and their accessories.Whether you are looking for guitars or drum set, these guys have everything available under their roof.Great customer service.I have recently bought a brand new Yamaha FS800 acoustic guitar from this store and it plays awesome. They offered a discount as well for being the first customer which was the best thing in the deal.Recommended if you are looking for a trustworthy seller.

I think the environment is okay. Staff are very organized and very nice. Teachers are caring for the students and make sure they don't fall behind.

Had a wonderful experience at this shop today. The staff were super cordial and helpful. I've been speaking with Samuel through their Reverb shop and he has always been fantastic to deal with. Today I had the pleasure of dealing with Victor in person, and he was great as well! Thank you Pro-Music for taking such good care of me! Joe D.

Took Theory class here and the instructor, Nancy kept yelling and screaming at me for no absolute reason and spreading false information about incomplete work. She mocked a student in front of the entire class making the student feel very uncomfortable. Shortly after bringing the student’s parent in front of the class and continued yelling at the student. I do not recommend this place to anybody else because you are risking your children to someone like Nancy.

This is the first time I came to pro-music to enroll my child in the course. The staff in pro-Music is very active, earnest and meticulous in answering my questions. It is a trustworthy school!

My grandson toik guitar lessons 2007 with Mike. Unfortunately, soccer was priority over guitar. Mike is extremely professional and I now I have decided to take guitar lessons with Mine. The staff have always been pleasant and professional and to this day they maintain the same standards or better. Highly recommend to anyone interested to attend Pro-Music .

Pro Music is an ideal place to nourish and develop musical talents. There are many professional and experienced teachers devoted to lead and prepare their students for success. Students are always encouraged to participate in class at this school. They ensure that the students understand the concepts taught the previous week. The teachers are very knowledgeable going very in depth and communicating ideas in a way that is easily understood by students. Their theory lessons are well-prepared which are clear and very useful. Their music lessons provide students with various opportunities to perform through competitions and recitals which further expose students to discover and grow their musical talents.My son has taken piano and guitar classes with Pro Music at this point. Both were totally awesome. The teachers are fantastic, so enthusiastic and encouraging and makes you feel great about your progress, however small. My son was taught things very clearly and teachers made sure we all understood before moving on. Specially his piano teacher was great at breaking down new concepts and building up to things, so that nothing seemed too daunting. And, above all, he is just so fun--the class was a blast, and I always left feeling energized and excited about music. His guitar teacher here is absolutely nice and friendly too, uplifting, attentive, endlessly patient, and most importantly he is tolerant of any skill-level. I was fortunate enough to have these teachers as my son’s music instructors.The people at Pro Music make it a great place to learn and interface with other students attempting to learn as well. Learning music here has made my son appreciate music a whole lot more. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who has a passion to develop their musical skills.

I went here to buy a metronome. One of the employees talked to me for a while about metronomes and helped me to find the one I wanted. He did not try to push me to buy a more expensive one, and I left satisfied with the one I had bought.
