Love the Bump

I took Justine's full day Saturday class. It is a lot of information but it was such a huge stress reliever for me as this is my first baby. It was an excellent class, great information, and Justine was a great teacher! It was a very laid back atmosphere and she is very knowledgeable and informative. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to take prenatal classes or anyone looking for a doula to give her a call. I had a great experience and I feel more prepared for my foray into motherhood!

My husband and I completed the 3 session prenatal class and we both identify having learned a lot, with each class leading to fruitful discussions afterward. We liked getting to share in the experience with two other couples, playing games and doing experiential activities. Justine is skillful in balancing her experience as a doula with research-backed content, and she regularly checked-in with the group to make sure we weren't getting too overwhelmed. I highly recommend Love the Bump!

Justine was an excellent partner to my husband and I as we went through our first labour and delivery process. Her support and coaching was helpful, non judgmental and honest. She kept us calm in the days/hours leading up to our sons arrival. We felt lucky to have had Justine as part of our L&D

We did Justine's April prenatal class. Justine was extremely knowledgeable and all the material was presented clearly and in a fun and engaging manner. It was also really helpful to have someone so familiar with local hospital procedure during these uncertain times. 100% recommend!

I'm a very anxious first-time mom and Justine's class helped me understand my options and put fear aside. Even though every birth experience is different, Justine lets you know what to expect overall so you can be more confident in the process and get your partner involved in the experience. Husband and I both found the class very fun and informative!

Justine was an amazing teacher. My husband and I did the full day prenatal class. We learned so much while enjoying ourselves.The class was intimate and fun. I feel much more relaxed about labor and delivery having learnt all the terms and ways of interventions. I can now make educated decisions when it comes to my birth plan. Of course you cannot completely control how things will go but, Justine gives a sense of calmness and allows you to prepare for any situation. I'd recommend this class to any expecting moms out there.

My husband and I just completed her 3 week pre natal class last night and we are so glad my midwife suggested going to see her. Justine is so personable and knowledgeable it was hard to not feel comfortable in the class even through pandemic protocols (sanitizer, masks, distancing). Highly recommend for any first time moms who are a bit wary about the whole birthing experience to learn about all the potentials you might face!

I always tell people I had the best team for the birth of my first baby and Justine was a big part of that team. We took the prenatal classes with her which were fun and informative. She checked in throughout my pregnancy to see how things were going. When it came to labour and birth she made the experience sooo much less stressful than I’m sure it would have been! She was a guide through the whole thing, knowing when to help out and when to step back. My husband and I are very thankful to have had her as our doula and I would recommend her to anyone!!

I knew that I wanted a doula long before I got pregnant. I knew Justine from school and I had a few friends that used her services, so when the time came to choose a doula, it was an easy choice.My husband and I chose to take private prenatal classes which we both enjoyed. They were very informative, relaxed and fun! I had always wanted a natural, unmedicated birth and Justine gave us the tools to prepare for that but she also educated us on all our other options and choices if things did not go as planned. Justine was always available through phone, text or email and I communicated with her a lot as my due date approached and passed (my daughter was 11 days late).While in labour, Justine was awesome at anticipating needs. I was determined to give birth unmedicated and Justine provided myself and my husband the support we needed to make that a reality. She brought me popsicles, fed me ice chips, squeezed my hips, held my hand and was constantly providing words of encouragement as I went through the pain of contractions and the exhaustion of pushing.I highly recommend Justine for all your prenatal and doula needs. She is well educated, professional, calm and has a great sense of humour!

My husband and I participated in Justine's group childbirth prep classes and used Justine's doula services for the delivery of our first child.The one-day intensive birth prep class was fun and extremely informative, allowing us to learn more about what to expect for our first labour and delivery and providing strategies to help us both cope during this new experience.Justine's support as our doula leading up to and during our labour was invaluable. We had a very positive birth experience as first time parents, much to the credit of Justine. She supported us to envision, articulate and prepare for our ideal birth plan and set realistic expectations. Her calm and supportive presence during the delivery itself helped us to make our birth plan a reality.Our family would highly recommend Justine's Doula services and birth class for any expectant parents.
