Leaside Badminton Club

Great people and nice place, I love it

There is no one person playing badminton at this place. Some kids were having training sessions on throwball and after enquiring them came to know, and nobody visits this place for playing badminton now. Please remove this place under badminton courts in this area

Fun and friendly community and competitive level for intermediates and above. Tryout for membership required to play. Open during the school year, Tues and Thurs nights.

Not too sure about the negative comment... This club seems to only be ran during the school year (as it is using the school gym). You need to email the club staffs in order to get the try-out times.I've been a part of the club for almost half a year now, and I can say that it is a close-knit group of badminton lovers. The try-out is in place only to filter for the people with enough badminton experience to have fun in the club.I would say the overall skill-level of the club is somewhere around the intermediate level (although the definition of an intermediate player may vary between people). However, I would say the only potential" downside is that the courts aren't padded like they would be in rental courts.In general

Ignore the bad reviews. This club is run by elected members on a voluntary basis. The is no staff". perhaps they called the school's staff by mistake. This club is run within a high school but is not affiliated with the TDSB. I've been a member for nearly 20 years and in all of my time there

I’ve been a member for a couple of years. This is a non-for-profit club and it is managed by a group of volunteers. The club is formed by a close-knit group of under 50 members. Members are selected annually based on skill level in order to ensure a good level of play. The club is well managed at a low cost if you sign up for a full year membership. Club currently provides shuttles for play which most other clubs don’t. Not sure why there were bad reviews as none of the club members recognize those names, thus they would’ve never contacted or played with any of us.
