Pure Integrative Pharmacy - Hemlock

Small but thoughtfully very well stocked. Always helpful and friendly. But this week I got especially awesome service, from Rebecca the pharmacist. I waited 3 weeks for test results to get back to my naturopath, who told me my results were some of the worst he's seen. No wonder I feel awful! But the medication protocol is for 3 weeks, a lot of pills, and not common. Pure called and said because of the long weekend it would be another 4 days before I could get them and start the regime. I was at my wit's end, being unable to function.Rebecca made a hero's effort: calling every other Pure location to see if they had any (they didn't either), then getting the lab to make them on a rush basis. I got them today, before the long weekend, and can start in the morning. Thank you so much, Rebecca!

Team of professionals with heartThe first time I set foot in this pharmacy I was not in a good place but the pharmacy team that greeted me remained calm and empathetic. Right away this put me at ease and reminded me that while compassion is important in general, it is even more important when people are not feeling their best. I am incredibly grateful for their ongoing care and their wealth of knowledge in conventional and natural medicine. This has become the only and last pharmacy I will go to.

Although I have been living in the same neighbourhood for many years, I never had a chance to step into this pharmacy before; up until my dental hygienist recommended a brand that is only available thru Pure Pharmacy. I have an ongoing low-iron problem for a long time. So, when I mentioned this to her, she highly recommended Bob's Iron brand right away. She said that she tried everything in the market, and this brand name turned out to be the best.Last week I decided to check out this pharmacy. Little did I know that I was going to run into 2 nicest and very knowledgeable health store professionals ever. (If I remember correctly, her name is Colleen), she took her time and asked me several questions with regards to my iron problem. And, she also explained to me all the pros and the cons, as well as other iron sources that could help me. She and the pharmacist, the way that they took an interest in finding the right dosage for me, it didn't feel like I was in another commercial health store, but rather in a health care centre. It was so genuine.In the last 20 years, I have been to all the big names from Genesis to Finlandia Pharmacy, from Choices to Vitasave. Yes, they do ask me questions as well. But, never to this extent. And, always recommended the higher price items. Especially, the dose of the supplement wasn't so much concern to them. No matter which store I went in, when I left, it always felt like I was another account number for them.First time, when I left this pharmacy, I felt somebody genuinely cared about this health problem of mine. And, instead of recommending me the highest dose, they opted for the lowest one to be on the safe side. I will definitely keep coming back to them, since I noticed that they carry other brand names that I use as well, for Vitamin D or C etc.If there was a 10-star rating, I would give them 10 stars. Thank you for all the help, and keep up the excellent work!

Hands down the best Pure Pharm in the Lower Mainland. Friendly service and excellent product knowledge.

The help I have received by Pure Pharmacy - Hemlock store - has been a vital part of my current health care program.Colleen at the Pure Pharmacy Hemlock location is extremely knowledge about the products, brands and pricing options and she makes everything easy because she is very clear in her communications, and fantastically pleasant to work with. Colleen has been a vital person in my health care team as I am working through a very complex chronic illness. From a customer service perspective, I would give Colleen ten stars out of five stars (i.e. double the top score possible!).  Linda B.

I'm so happy that a Pure Integrative Pharmacy opened up at Hemlock and Broadway. I work a couple of buildings down so it's super convenient for me to go there during a lunch break of after work to pick up my supplements and prescriptions. There are two lovely ladies working there... I think their names are Colleen and Adeline. They are both super friendly and they always take the time to answer all my questions and make recommendations. It's a great addition to the neighbourhood!

I went in to pick up my prescription (2 vials of 100 mg each) - they had called me a few weeks prior to confirm if I still wanted them - I said yes and I would collect them on the day of my appointment (today) - they said okay, they’d make a note to keep them for my prescription.I went in today and dealt with one of the pharmacists/assistants (bald East Indian male). He told me they only had one vial of my medication - I told him I had confirmed a few weeks prior that the medication would be there for me.We all make mistakes every day but there was no apology or accountability, just an exaggerated shoulder shrug. He made it very clear it was not his problem. I had to wait for him to find a 200 mg vial, making me late for my appointment. No thank you, just nothing.I learned from the staff upstairs that the pharmacy manager (Rebecca) is away this week, so perhaps this person felt it was okay to behave this way during her absence.

By far my favorite pharmacy and favorite pure pharmacy location. The pharmacist and nutritionists are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend visiting for mediations, compound prescriptions and supplements.

I've been using this location for almost a year for my prescriptions and compounds. I really love the people here. The store inside is beautiful. Easy to find stuff if you want to brows. Selection is wide but not vast and overwhelming. Prices are fair and comparable. Love my pharmacist there and Colleen is so lovely, quick and efficient.

I visited Pure for the first time a couple of weeks ago to drop off a prescription, then went back a few days later to pick it up plus get some vitamins. The customer service was amazing and everyone that helped me in the store was super friendly and knowledgeable and really seemed to care about their customers. What a nice surprise to find this pharmacy!
