I saw this “doctor” today. I went into his office shortly after a woman came out obviously distressed claiming she had been belittled by the”doctor” who drew rudimentary pictures for her like “she was a 5 year old”. She claimed he inferred that she was a liar. I took this with a grain of salt knowing that some people overreact to situations especially when they are worried about medical problems. I really hope this “doctor” was just having a bad day because his interaction with me from start to finish was like an over-tired child having a tantrum with his hands flying everywhere and being completely unprofessional and condescending . I ended the appointment by getting up and leaving.

I have had several procedures done on my hands over the years and have always had an excellent experience.

2 hour wait for a 92 year old dementia patient, sitting in a wheel chair. Utterly ridiculous. Schedule your patients better. Perhaps with different staff that isn’t 2 days away from retirement.

I first visited Dr Nimigan for help with carpal tunnel syndrome. After diagnosis, he arranged surgery and I couldn't be more pleased. The surgery was an unqualified success and I can't see any scar whatsoever. Dr Nimigan is a great surgeon, a very nice man with a sense of humour and a happy disposition. You could not do any better than a visit to Dr Nimigan for your hand issues.

I had carpal tunnel and ular transposition surgery. Dr Nimigon is very knowledgeable and his staff friendly. Followed the instructions after surgery regarding exercises for hands and I had no issues and able to return to work quickly.

Very unprofessional and unapproachable Dr. Went to visit for my pre op, regarding my finger. In which I was then told I didn't know what I was talking about because I was wrong regarding an x ray in which I know I had done. I went to explain the procedures leading up to my xray in which he had no time for and wouldn't listen to my concerns. Do not recommend.

It didn't occur to me that I could put my comments here but hopefully they'll benefit someone, despite how long ago this occurred. I saw Dr. Nimigan regarding carpel tunnel back in 2019. He was condescending and insisted that no treatment I was attempting (with my osteopath and chiropractor) would or could ease the numbness in my hand, stating his surgery was my only solution. Thankfully, I deferred my decision because I was already scheduled to have two hernia surgeries that spring and decided to wait.Ten (10) days after my hernia surgeries, I was diagnosed with a fairly rare condition called Acromegaly. It's a tumour on the pituitary that produces growth hormone and messes with a bunch of things. My endocrinologist said to me “good thing you didn’t have the carpel tunnel surgery because that’s the first condition that will be cured once we treat you.” Pre-brain surgery in October 2019 I had monthly injections to stop the production of growth hormone and sure enough, my right hand (that had been numb for 8 months) had feeling again after the first injection!I’ve always meant to tell Dr. Nimigan he should ask anyone with carpel tunnel if they’ve outgrown rings, gloves or shoes (because that would be a sign to get tested for Acromegaly) before he ‘makes the cut’…but frankly, he was so rude and patronizing, I somehow doubt his pride would permit this lesson!
