Malton has been neglected in the pass and the present. Look at the wall that was installed on Airport road approximately 21 years ago that is dark on the top .. no maintenance compare to the wall that has been installed at Central Parkway & Rathburn area for the the residence over 12 years ago. On Goreway road the townhouses has chain link fence and is the same set up as central parkway.. where there is a plaza and two lanes on both sides of the street.Also Malton residence are frustrated about the Khalsa parade that has been causing mental health issues and major interruptions for the residents.The city has been ignoring complaints over decades, so that residents are forced to accept the challenges this parade has been causing. The city talk about mental health but contributing to the mental health instead of trying to address it especially where they have control to do so.Malton residents believe that the city has been neglecting the area for decades.Over 10 years ago a letter was sent out to Malton asking if they want to be part of Brampton.. but nothing came out if it.. The city never provided the results.Give up Malton to Toronto the boundary line south west of HWY 427 is Etobicoke.Being close to the improved Woodbine race tack/ casino attraction and the Airport.. Toronto would take much better vested interest in Malton than Mississauga.Although, square one residents and security guards say the buildings around there are the slumps because of the residence, the council and mayor making an effort to keep improving the area.
