Our air conditioner wasn’t working and a technician came to fix it. He said it needed a new part. Halls quoted a price of $225 for the part. We bought it elsewhere for $40. We still had to pay $130 for an installation that Halls didn’t do. Office staff and the technician both only seemed to care that they received payment for service. I also requested that they keep me informed about approximately when they were coming which they didn’t do. I had to keep calling back. I was very unimpressed.

After they serviced my furnace they did something to my humidifier and my next water bill had $350 of water usage (74 M3). I also want to note I have been here 4 winters and never had an issue with this humidifier.I called and they facetimed me and after inspecting everything with me over the phone they said it was not the humidifier and that I should call a plumber.They said if the humidifier was running I would hear water running even with the furnace off. So here’s a video of my humidifier overflow dripping into my drain while the furnace is on and I would also like to note that you CANNOT hear any water running.

We had issues with our furnace on Christmas Eve. Todd came and got it working. It once again stopped working and Todd came in the early hours on Christmas day to once again get it started. When it stopped again we purchased a new unit and air conditioner which were installed efficiently by Justin and Chris, two technicians who were professional, courteous, and nice to deal with.

Hall's has saved us twice now. The first time was a few years ago when our furnace died a few days before Christmas. They were literally the only company that would consider replacing it and finished up Dec 24. Not an easy task in a 130 yr old house. They also had to add additional ductwork in just three days. This time, our central air broke down on an extremely hot day. I phoned Sunday around 7 pm, received a call from Todd around 8 pm, had a technician here at 11 am Monday and had cool air an hour later. For a reasonable cost. We highly recommend them.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience with this company which has always been very good to deal with in the past. We have waited more than a month to get a proper explanation for a failing furnace. They send an apprentice, same person twice, which couldn’t diagnose the issue. Finally sent someone else who immediately pinpointed the issue. Waited to hear about a part they were supposedly ordering. Never heard, waited some more. Finally called another company who ordered it right away. Terrible communication, very rude service man, won’t return calls at all despite repeated calls from us to get a call back, just very poor overall. We won’t work with them again. As customers we felt ignored, disrespected and thoroughly frustrated.

This is on behalf of an elderly friend in Mini Lakes who does not own a cell phone or computer. She needed some doors that were damaged by a previous repair fixed. Todd came promptly and is dealing with the doors and was very kind and patient with my elderly friend as she had questions about the workings of the furnace. Thank you for supporting her all these years.

They sent a 'technician' to check my leaking hot water tank and give us a quote AND they failed to check for the warranty as they said they would. Bad, bad. They therefore quoted me 2000 dollars higher than the next company who found it to be still UNDER WARRANTY

I had a service call over a month ago for the air purification system Hall's sold to us. The technician wasn't sure what the problem was. She said she would consult with Todd and someone would get back to me. I've had no response even after calling twice to follow up. Wasted $130 on a service call. Won't be using Hall's ever again.

Our furnace broke down in December and the company we originally called out for the repair, left us with a red -tagged furnace and no heat for 2 days, telling us that we wouldn't be able to get a new furnace due to Covid. So, I called Halls. They were quick to respond and had someone out to our house within hours to confirm the issue. They were able to install a new furnace the very next day! The people were friendly and efficient and the price was very reasonable. Since then we have had a few small incidence with the furnace cutting out when we changed the heat settings. Each time, they have had someone here same day and got our heat back up and running. The problem was identified and repaired quickly under warranty with no hassles. Overall this is one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. Despite the hiccups we had, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them if I ever find myself in need of their services again.

Great service from Hall's replacing our AC last year and water heater this year. Chris and Justin went above and beyond rearranging the mess of piping on the previous install and had us up and running in no time. Skilled guys who get the job done.
